I am a "new customer" at this "dealership". I spoke yesterday with service advisor "Trina" to…read morearrange no-rush F150 servicing, but when I arrived I found a long line of "waiting" vehicles. the dealer allows folks to PARK in the "service lane". Once inside, the service was typical Ford Dealer stuff. Please get detailed directions on how to get there,as it is not as easy as it looks. Perhaps the multi-line Dealer, "Courtesy Group" needs some customer re-orientation classes for their employees. Rick

Terrible experience. Do not recommend…read more Drove 7h from Austin to get here to buy a new Mustang Bullitt. Got there and the car had two scratches on the metal part of the front bumper and an indentation on the plastic from someone probably parking into something. Lance, my salesman, was nice and apologetic about the damage and proposed these options to me since I had driven from far away: 1. Credit me $150 to get a new plastic part to replace the damaged one. Mail me some paint to touch up the scratches myself. 2. Leave the car there for them to fix it and pick it up the following weekend. I chose option 2 since I'd rather not be fixing my brand new car myself for damages caused at the dealership. I then proposed we close the deal that day and I'd come back to get my car the following weekend. Going into the finance room with Kevin made Lance's efforts to improve my so far poor experience go down the drain. You know a car dealership finance guy is trying to lead you the wrong way when he starts the conversation by scribbling down monthly payment numbers on a sheet of paper instead of showing you your bill. I tried to spare Kevin's time trying to sell me extended warranties but that didn't stop him from sneaking a $694 "other" line item in my bill. Turns out I was going to be paying $395 for paint/interior sealants and $299 for VIN etching. Not only did I not ask for either of these two things, but I also tried to confirm my total the day before my drive, to which I was assured there would be "no surprises". Well what a surprise it was to drive 7h to see a scratched car and have a rude finance guy try to shove a $299 VIN etching in your bill! Thank you Google for showing me that I could buy a VIN etching kit for $18 on Amazon. And that's IF I wanted that, which I most certainly don't. I walked out of the deal because Kevin wouldn't budge on his 1600% markup on VIN etching. I'll spare you the details of all the ridiculous things he said while trying to convince me it was a good "investment". I came into the dealership ready to buy the car, financing or cash. Left empty handed and wasted 13h on the road. Props to Lance though for being a nice guy and apologizing for the deal falling through. Luckily for Kevin his job apparently doesn't require being polite to customers or else he'd be out on the street.

I recently brought my…read morevehicle in after taking it to Lafayette Mazda dealership for its maintenance checkup like I have done every year since purchasing it in 2013. I was told by Mazda that I had a leak and the cost to fix it would be $1300.00. I took it to La. Automotive and they cleaned where the area so that they were able to see where the leak was coming from, unlike what Mazda was willing to do. Instead Mazda was going to charge for every piece that oil was on. La. Automotive took the time to actually find the where the leak was coming from and I was only charged $565.00 to fix the leak and they did an awesome job at a better price than my own dealership was going to charge me. Very honest place that I will now continue to take our vehicles and I have taken my last trip to Mazda for anything. It's not the first time my husband has caught them saying they replaced things and they didn't. Then offered to change it for free. My daughter has experienced the same thing. I no longer will ever trust the service dept. @ Mazda. I can't thank La. Automotive owners and their mechanics enough for a job well done and most importantly their honesty!!
