My friends and I come here for different crafting events. They have a Facebook page you can follow. Located close by downtown district O'Fallon Illinois. Nestled by circle K. Parking is primarily street side. Just be careful during the evening classes as it's very dim lighted. We have come here in the last 2-3 years. They host galentine paint night. They do ones for Halloween/fall, Christmas, and most other major holidays. Not just painting, they offer cookie decorating as well as charcuterie board. Among other crafts. The owner is Jennifer and she's very laid back and she walks you through step by step in the projects and will walk by make sure no one's struggling. the events are fun and a nice way to do something with friends. Prices vary on projects. One that I did tonight is a shelf sitter and i didn't add the hanging tools. It ran me $30 and you order a head online. As their classes can fill up! We always have a blast coming out to do anything crafty! Had a great time painting ornaments with my family. Friendly and helpful staff, with easy to follow directions and a large variety of paint and ribbon options! Really enjoy this place we also had a wonderful private date night event and the time they took to make sure the fellas were as interested and had signs just for them. It was outstanding. read more

I Love this place they have various designs that you can choose from to make signs. You choose your design in advance before you attend your selected class. Depending on the size of the design depends on the size shape of your wood, and, if it has a frame or not. You get to choose whether you want your background color of your wood painted or stained. You also get to choose what color you want the letters or designs. Personalizing the colors is so fun and its what makes your sign unique. The staff there are friendly and are eager to help. There classes are fun, organized, and stressfree. The first time I attended a class I was nervous I'd make a mistake but the staff show you step by step how to successfully complete your sign. read more

I have used them to stretch, mount and frame over 45 paintings over the last 8 years. All sizes, many are in cm from Europe, and all types of media. Never a complaint. Always a top notch job and less than the big chain places that advertise "50% off". I have sent many people to them and they have all been highly satisfied. They have also cleaned and reframed a 60 year old oil painting for me that had much dirt and cigarette smoke on it. Great job, looked like a totally different painting. They have done shadow boxes for me, great job. Turnaround time is normally 2-3 weeks, depending on if you have rolled painting that needs stretched and replaced on wood then framed or just a painting or picture that needs framing. I immediately take everything to them because I know I will get first class job at reasonable price!

Parking is $15, but not bad compared elsewhere.

I thought it was going to be very hippie, and it was in a way, but it brought out a lot of people...and not all of them were hippies. I do love the idea though: arts and crafts through upcycled material...how much cooler is that? Getting there is somewhat of a pain because Highway 50 narrows down to one lane each way when you get close to the park. Add to that Oktoberfests galore, and you have a very nice recipe for "traffic jam". Everyone parks everywhere, but surprisingly enough, parking wasn't that big of a deal. It is really a family thing too. They have arts and crafts for the kids, indie bands playing, lots of picnic tables set up with the usual assortment of fair foods, an alpaca petting zoo, and of course, Girl Scouts selling cookies. But the booths themselves are the showcase, and the media is quite varied, even though I heard a booth owner complain, "It is so hard nowadays to be original." She was selling wire jewelry, so I guess I can see her point. And really, my favorite booths are really the unique ones like Beqi Clothing and Newberry Furniture. The Newberrys repurpose old wood for new stuff...their current thing consists of Adirondack chairs made from an old barn. And Beqi takes vintage clothing and changes it all around..she has quite the gift. The whole thing is pretty big, and it really does impress me that there are so many craftsters in the area.

From what I understand, artisans come from all over the US to sell at this event. There is a huge variety and it's so much fun. Cool crowd too.
