I've had few therapy experiences in the past but not more than 1 or 2 sessions cause the connection and trust never happened. We started our couple therapy with Sara and the first session was when I started realizing that how comfortable I'm with Sara, she listened carefully, took notes and ask the right questions. She taught us how not to jump into conclusion and try to understand each other without think about a response while the other person is talking. I truly believe it was fate when I found Sara at the time I found her. Nothing in my life seemed to be going in the right direction. I had been divorced from a 10 year marriage and met Sara a year and half after the divorce. I have also been in a relationship with my current boyfriend for a little over a year who I love so much, but in recent months we have been fighting non stop, and have become incredibly vicious with our words almost to the point where it's irreversible from all the resentment and hurt that wasnt resolved. Yes, I was a mess when I met Sara. I didn't get to fully process my divorce by the time I started dating my boyfriend, which caused a lot of heartache and pain in our relationship and was ultimately leading to the demise of the love we had for one another. I have been working with Sara for over a year now and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. I had tried therapy in the past but sessions with Sara are not like anything I have ever experienced in the past. I had been dealing with crippling anxiety and had tried everything (acupuncture, chiropractor, other therapists) but nothing was working. Making an appointment with Sara has easily been one of the best decisions I ever made for myself. My sessions with Sara have become so much more than I could have ever imagined--she has helped me find happiness in becoming a better person for myself.
