I walked into Hypnotherapy Breakthrough pretty skeptical as the last therapist left me worse off. My initial phone interview/pre-session was really refreshing. Carlos genuinely seemed interested in the details of who I was at baseline. I was asked about lifestyle and diet and previous attempts at healing (medical/therapy). What was "normal" before the trauma. Our first in-person wasn't a "consult" but a full blown, lay it-all-out session where we picked apart what traumas needed the most focus. We made lists together, we made light of the ridiculous and grounded ourselves in the serious. There was no script to read and no judgment passed. My therapist spoke my language and adapted to my candor, which is a real talent. Our sessions lasted usually as an hour and a half but were as long as they needed to be.
