Based on all the positive reviews that I read online, I went to see Brenda for help dealing with general anxiety that I have been struggling with for the past 5 years. Prior to meeting Brenda, I had tried reiki and acupuncture and had seen a naturopath, psychiatrist, and psychologists. Nothing had worked, so I wasn't sure if hypnotherapy would help in improving my situation. When I met Brenda, I was reading a book called "The Fear and Anxiety Solution" by Dr. Friedemann Schaub (who also has expertise in clinical hypnotherapy). Dr. Schaub's book affirmed and reinforced the visualization techniques during my sessions with Brenda which helped me understand how the subconscious mind works. Brenda helped me realize the root cause of my anxiety which previous therapists had simpled diagnosed as generalized anxiety disorder. I intuitively knew there was something deeper within my subconsious that was causing my anxiety, but couldn't pinpoint what. After attending some of these monthly groups, I chose to go one on one with Brenda. I took my daughter to Brenda when she was in 4th grade for anxiety that hit the roof like I've never seen, that turned into school refusal and none of being able to leave the house, get her dressed, or leave her side. I decided to do a series of sessions with Brenda a few months ago and I am so thankful I did!
