I would definitely recommend seeing Catherine Darras for any issues that you're having a hard time breaking through, overcoming or understanding! She provides a calm, safe place for you to relax into a session. I just had a great session with her the other day and, not only did I have a super restorative nap during it but also several telling dreams for several nights afterwards. In one of them, I felt this sense of bliss and wholeness come over me. I stayed in that space as long as I could. It was incredible, like being one with Source. I felt such Unconditional love. Aside from other stressors, I've been having a ton of work stress but I have felt much more calm after our visit. And now I just have a sense of Faith or knowingness. Hypnosis is such a great healing modality and Catherine has an excellent talent and skill set to help you overcome problems, have breakthroughs, stop addiction, or just feel a sense of calm and peace. Definitely worth the value provided! Thank you Catherine read more

I've decided to see Catherine at two different points in my life when I was interested in improving myself and working through some internal challenges I was facing. Both times, I've left feeling renewed. The empathetic nature was felt instantly, and it truly felt like a collaborative experience built on mutual trust, understanding, and kindness. Each session allowed me to have an immediate shift in perspective and feeling afterwards (that has lasted). Her focus on setting the foundation through guided conversation really makes it feel like you're being listened to, and the sessions end up being that much more effective because of it. Overall, I could not recommend her enough and feel confident moving forward in multiple areas of my life. I look forward to when life tells me to meet with her again. read more

I had such a wonderful experience working with Catherine. Not only did I feel deeply relaxed and supported during our sessions, but the positive effects continued for days and even weeks afterward. I originally came in for help with a digestive issue, and I was amazed at how much better I felt overall both physically and emotionally after working with her. I plan on scheduling another session with Catherine later this year as a tune-up. Highly recommend her to anyone considering hypnotherapy! read more

I high recommend three sessions with Cat. One session would not have been enough to get to the bottom of my issues! :) She is highly intuitive and gifted in her ability to unravel the source of modern human issues. I wasn't exactly sure what I needed, but she helped me find a renewed sense of peace and calm in my life. I was drinking too much, spending way too much time on my phone and letting the little things in life get to me. I have recently retired and I was struggling with "what's next". Cat patiently took time to ask appropriate questions to get to the bottom of my unease. The actual hypnotherapy was extremely relaxing and other worldly. I loved the whole experience. As a result of my three sessions, I am calmer, not as easily rattled and I am free of negative behaviors. I will definitely go back if needed. read more

I am currently almost 9 months postpartum. I came to Cathy with some pretty extreme anxiety and overwhelm. Over the past month we worked together, and so far I have nothing but great feelings about the progress I made and the work she did with me. I feel very fortunate to have found her reading these very same reviews. This experience was such a game changer for me. If you are struggling please do yourself a favor and reach out to Cathy. I went to Catherine Darras for help to unplug from my phone. My phone was becoming more and more an escape to avoid taking initiative for a more creative or useful activity. I met with Catherine online for one session and the effect has been amazing. I feel the same, but there is like a fog lifted from my head - I am more present and aware of the people and conversations around me. I have not banned my phone, it's a tool for communication, directions, research etc, but I don't find myself being distracted by it and wasting hours of time on it. I highly recommend Catherine! read more

My Catherine Darras Hypnotherapy experience really worked and made profound real positive change and awareness for me. Her techniques, sincerity, and attention are real, meaningful and highly functional. I did not know what to expect to begin with. We started with a detailed dialog which let me explain my issues/problems with attentive insightful questions from Catherine that ultimately led to her knowing how to apply the hypnotherapy to my needs. The hypnotherapy itself was really really good and made more meaningful and profound change than I could have expected. I had 3 individual sessions with her and have been able to respond and think differently/better to many issues I came to her with and therfore finding more harmony and happiness. I highly recommend Catherine Darras Capistrano Hypnotherapy. read more

I have successfully used hypnotherapy earlier in my life, and I had the opportunity to work with her on a couple issues that needed immediate attention. Her attention to detail and complete empathy allowed me to trust in her ability to help guide me through the most difficult time in my adult life. Hypnotherapy might not be what you think it is. Kat will take the time to sit down with you and listen to a detailed history. She is searching for clues as to why you have mental blocks or programming that doesn't serve your best interests. Once you go through the discovery process, she guides you through the therapy session. In the sessions I learned many valuable tools and insights that I still use to this day when I'm faced with a problem. The time spent in the chair is packed with value and will give you strategies you can use for years to come. 5 stars. read more

I would definitely recommend Capistrano Hypnotherapy to anyone wanting to dig a little deeper than any other type of therapy. I was very cynical of hypnosis at first and didn't think I would actually go under. However, Cathy really took her time asking the right questions before the actual hypnosis part of our appointment so I felt that she really wanted to get to the heart of the areas that I wanted to improve. I usually see her 2-3 times a year and I always notice changes over time. I never feel like she has any other agenda than to help me find the inner strength to help myself. That to me is the best benefit, giving my subconscious the tools to make the positive choices that I need on my own. Cathy has a real gift and I appreciate her helping me help myself. read more

My son met with Catherine four times in 2015. She took her time to get to know my son in the first visit, with my input. I wasn't present for hypnotherapy sessions themselves, and my son always said he had positive experiences with the sessions. My son has a communication disability, and this was the first time we ever used hypnotherapy. I observed results very quickly in some areas which were causing him behavior and fixation issues. My son lives with me, so I know what to look for. Before the hypnotherapy, we had my son go through an extended (over a year, 3 times a week) behavior modification and counseling program. While the behavior modification program did work, it took a long time and the results were very gradual. The hypnotherapy, on the other hand, seemed to work right away. On our most recent visit, my son indicated he wanted to go (it wasn't me who initiated the visit). He seemed to sense when he needed to go in again. Maybe we'll be back for a refresher, but for now we're very pleased with the results and don't have any appointments scheduled for further visits. Our experience was very positive and I would highly recommend Catherine for her abilities. read more

Catherine is just awesome. I have sleeping issues and tried all sorts of solutions, medical and etc. and nothing seemed to work. I finally thought of using hypnotherapy as one last option, and to my surprise this is the only thing that finally worked!! I don't know how it works, but it works!! The session itself was a very relaxing experience and when I went home, for the first time after such a long time I was able to sleep. Thank you so much Catherine. Catherine helped my daughter with test taking anxiety. My daughter studied hard, had a tutor, she could explain the material and seemed to be very prepared for the test. Then she would get an F time and time again. She had always been a good student in the past and we couldn't figure out what was wrong. She studied, went to bed early and didn't have her phone in her room at night. We even had her vision tested and the doctor said she was fine. I was at a loss and didn't know what else to do. She started seeing a traditional therapist for anxiety but as a high school student who wants to go to college, she wanted to see results quickly. So I looked into hypnosis and I found Catherine on line. Catherine saved my daughter. After 2 sessions my daughter went from getting an F every test to getting A grades. It was amazing. Catherine is kind and soothing and made my daughter feel comfortable. My daughter was skeptical at first and not sure if she really believed it would work. But she was desperate and willing to try anything. Now she believes! I recommend Catherine for anyone with school testing of performance anxiety. Thank you Catherine! read more

After only 2 sessions Catherine has helped me work through some major issues within myself and my life. After the very first session I can honestly say I do not remember a night where I slept that deep. I have been continuing to sleep better and have less stress overall. Little things that would pile up into anxiety have not resurfaced and my work days are so much more pleasant. I look forward to more session with Catherine and I would absolutely recommend anyone to go. I'm so glad I choose this route for therapy instead of conventional therapy. This is hitting on such a deeper level. If you are really serious about removing obstacles from your life and moving forward, go see her. read more

I came to Catherine when I was diagnosed with cancer with mets to my bones. Believing my mind has a big role in the healing process and an important factor in the success of my treatments, I wanted to find someone to help guide me through the mental, subconscious landscape, and to navigate this in the midst of fear, questions and uncertainty in my life. She starts the sessions by asking questions to find the core of what you need that day, whether it's pain relief, connectedness, healing, forgiveness, calm and peace of mind over any issues, etc. She puts you at ease right from the start. She is intuitive and creative and is great to talk to. The sessions are enjoyable. But more importantly she is effective. After the session I feel more focused, clear, and aware of my thoughts. I feel amazingly relaxed, calm, balanced and in control. The significant pain I had 3 months ago is completely gone, my tumors are smaller, and I am in remission. Whether or not you believe hypnosis has been a factor, with a little research you can see for yourself the number of survivors against late stage cancer who use their mind as a major player in their success. When you work with Catherine you can see that she has genuine concern for your issues and that she is in this vocation because she is compassionate about helping people improve their lives. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for hypnotherapy. read more
