My son met with Catherine four times in 2015. She took her time to get to know my son in the first visit, with my input. I wasn't present for hypnotherapy sessions themselves, and my son always said he had positive experiences with the sessions. My son has a communication disability, and this was the first time we ever used hypnotherapy. I observed results very quickly in some areas which were causing him behavior and fixation issues. My son lives with me, so I know what to look for. Before the hypnotherapy, we had my son go through an extended (over a year, 3 times a week) behavior modification and counseling program. While the behavior modification program did work, it took a long time and the results were very gradual. The hypnotherapy, on the other hand, seemed to work right away. On our most recent visit, my son indicated he wanted to go (it wasn't me who initiated the visit). He seemed to sense when he needed to go in again. Maybe we'll be back for a refresher, but for now we're very pleased with the results and don't have any appointments scheduled for further visits.
