It's nothing fancy but I love this car a lot and it means a lot to me. It used to be the car my grandparents drove me around in when I was little. I won't ramble too much about it's backstory but long story short my grandmother has since passed and my grandfather gifted it to me when I got my license. So in April I was in a really bad accident. I got nailed pretty bad in the passenger side. It was bad enough that the engine shut off and my hazard lights turned on automatically. Anyways, the insurance company totaled it and I was devastated but not really surprised because its a 2008. I've gotten work done by Dave & his employees in the past because of a minor fender bender and my parents have gotten all of their cars from him in the past so I felt that he was the best person to bring it to. Fast forward a couple days when he got back from vacation he DID advise that I don't bother with it because of where it got hit and the amount of money in damages it was. I explained my situation and the sentimental value of the car to him and persisted that I was more than willing to pay out of pocket whatever the difference was between what the job was worth and what the insurance gave me. He agreed to fix it and even still he insisted I would not pay more than what the insurance company gave me and after a couple of weeks I went to pick it up and my total was 700$ less than what the insurance company gave me and over 1000$ less than what the appraiser said the damages were! I still had a couple of minor issues with the interior afterwards and he fixed all of those too without charging me another dime. Overall, Dave took care of my wallet and my car and I couldn't be more grateful for his willingness to help me out in a tough spot, and the quality of the work done on my vehicle. I hope I don't have to go to his shop anytime soon again lol but god forbid anything happens to my car again I 100% know where I'm taking it. Everyone that works there is very nice and show genuine compassion for their customers. If anyone reading this just smashed up their car and want it back new without having to sell a kidney, this is definitely the place to go. Once again thank you Dave for helping me out I REALLY didn't want to lose this car.

My car was in an accident in Mattapoisett about a month and a half ago. The bumper had fallen off,…read morethe radiator support was pushed in as well as broken in several places, the headlight was smashed along with a hood that was bent all the way up to the windshield. I had the car towed to a shop titled "Artistic Auto Body" in Fairhaven. The owner of this place advised me that my car was a total loss and told me he could junk it for me. I then proceeded to try and sell the car for a couple days until somebody recommended Jennings Auto Body. My car was still drivable, and the radiator itself was not even damaged/leaking. As soon as I got it there, I spoke to the owner Joe. He was a wicked nice guy and definately knew what he was talking about. He looked at my car and told me that he could do it and had the tools he needed to restore it to its original state. They can even bend the frames back, he told me to junk my car like the guy said would've been crazy! I had personally believed that my car was in bad shape until he told me "You ought to see half the vehicles we work on this is nothing!". Within 4 days, I had my car back and it looked even better than before! The price was not bad at all, some people told me that it would've cost around $2500 and I got the work done for a little under a grand. I'm not sure how the process of painting a car is, but I've had paint at Maaco before and this came out one-hundred percent better. The shine was amazing, and to this day no peels or anything! (Peeling happens at Maaco so you always go back and spend more!) I recommend this place to anyone in need of auto body work! Its good to have honest people, not scammers who want to make all their money off insurance companies!
