I have used County RV in the past and have recommended them often. I called and said my class A needed a fan clutch replaced and made an appointment. They called me an hour after dropping it off and refused the work. Mike was nice enough but it boiled down to it is a pain and "if a bad one comes out of the box we have to replace it and don't get paid for the extra labor". They seemed busy but I was put off as a return customer. I would have appreciated them turning it down when I made the appointment since I don't get paid for the time they wasted having me bring it there and then pick it up a hour later. read more

We purchased a pre owned Lance 1575 travel trailer last week from a gal who had it serviced at CRVSC the entire period she owned the travel trailer. We even were able to keep the extended warranty with the unit. Pryor to taking delivery of the trailer I took a drive over to their location to meet and greet the team. While we haven't yet used our trailer or set up our tow vehicle, I'm looking forward to bringing in and having the truck & trailer setup with the; trailer breaking system, weight distribution hitch/ sway and the tire pressure monitoring system. Once all this is completed I'll file a full rating of their business. My first impression is that CRVSC is a top notch business. Their location perfect with easy access, the staff is willing to listen to your needs and takes a no pressure sales technique or upselling. Brought my Rv in for a new propane regulator, I had the part with me. Very friendly but it took the shop 3.5 hours to get this done. $700 for labour to install. At first I was shocked but paid the bill and off I went. Then of course my fridge would not work, air lock. I fixed it but took me awhile. The more I thought about it the more I felt disappointed in this cost. I was told the vehicle was put on the lift, regulator changed out and then two people to test the pressure. Ok, then it still leaked so up on the lift and it was a little gasket that should have been noticed when doing the replacement. Ugh my bad for not saying something at the time. I have given the shop feedback but no response. Just talked to Ed, wow he told me it was bullshit that it should only take an hour to fix. Also said most motorhomes would be an hour but mine was complicated and they had to take the shroud off. Just crap, I talked to several other places who told me I was totally ripped off. NO WAY would I go here or recommend them. Ugh read more

I came here because of the reviews and glad I did. I had an oil change with filters replaced and also the heat shield welded back under my home. Larry, in service, listened patiently to all of my questions and took his time with me. Because I was getting ready to get on the road for awhile, he carefully went over the important parts of the RV. I left there with peace of mind. I felt the price was very fair for the work they did. They also have a great little waiting area. 2nd visit on 2/8/17 I had my RV towed here at 4 am and the mechanics helped me as soon as they opened up with kindness and smiles. I was fortunate enough to get Larry again. I was beat after having been stuck on the road all night and had 2 roadside assistance calls because the first one didn't work. These guys got right to work on it even though they had others in the lot from the previous day. After speaking to me about different things that possibly might be the issue, I left my girl with them and hoped for the best. I had a call from Larry before noon with great news. It was an easy fix and besides the fix, he looked over the RV and took care of things that he thought needed checking on. Best off all, the bill was more than fair. Anyone needing RV service would be crazy not to use the people! 4/16/20- Back for repairs and maintenance. I left my girl with them for a couple of days and they did a fabulous job on repairs and also finding parts that I had been told from other places that they would be difficult to find. UPDATE 12-22-2018 A few months ago I had them upgrade both of my rooftop A/C units to Atwood 15K BTU heat pumps. As usual, Robert's recommendation was spot-on. They are quieter and more powerful than the ones they replaced, and the heat pump function works great! The forward unit also controls the propane furnace in case it gets too cold for heat pumps (hasn't happened yet) or I'm not on hookups. They also found and fixed an elusive problem with one of my slide-outs and fixed a shower leak (looks like pan was not sealed properly at the factory). I continue to be thrilled with County RV's work! -- County RV just installed a residential fridge in my motorhome to replace the Dometic that I was just plain tired of. They did a great job, it looks like a factory installation, it vents properly into the coach, and they made weatherproof removable access panels behind the original fridge vent panels, and the 1000 watt Xantrex inverter is wired into the coach breaker panel for seamless transitions from shore power to generator to battery. They even finished more than a week ahead of the date they promised it. Two thumbs up! I took my recently purchased 26' travel trailer into County RV last month to get my Sway-Bars adjusted to the height of my Jeep. While they were doing the adjustment, the owner Mike noticed my Bicycle Rack (with two heavy electric bikes) was sitting on an unsafe trailer hitch. Instead of the hitch being supported by the frame, it was simple attached to a bumper. shared that it was not safe. I was just leaving to go out of town, so I was able to put the bikes on the inside for safety, and saved my trip from a potential disaster if the bumper came off dumping our bikes and the large metal bike rack onto the road, or a car behind us. After our trip, we took our trailer back to get a proper support frame for the hitch put on, and once again...the owner noticed our actual rack was not very solid. At no extra charge, they reinforced the part of our bike frame that connects to the new hitch. It was at least 2 hours work of extra. These guys are rock solid, and run a great business. Can't express enough how thankful we are to County RV for all the support and great work they did for us. read more

I can't say enough about Larry and great service I received at County RV. I found myself in a Santee parking lot with an RV that wouldn't start. I called AAA and the technician that responded told me that my battery tested fine. Now what? Obviously I needed to have it towed and repaired but where. I walked across the street to a AAA Approved auto repair shop but they couldn't help me. They suggested I call County RV. I walked back and made the call. They put Larry on the line. I explained my predicament and he said "have AAA tow it here and I'll make room for you." Even though they had more work than the could do, the installed a new starter, changed my oil and filters and called me to pick it up at 10:00am the next morning. Thank you Larry. I wanted to purchase and have installed an electric RV two step stair unit. I was referred to County RV from another service center who is not taking new customers - part of the Costco plan if you can believe that... I called and connected with Robert in the Service Center. I can tell you, he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet - on the phone and in person. He's worked there since God was a Corporal and absolutely knows his product. Robert gave me an on-the-spot estimate and said to bring my Motor Home in so they could look at it and confirm they could get the right parts. This was Thursday morning around 10:00. I got my MH there around 11:30 and left it. Robert asked when I needed it done and I said within the next 3 weeks would be awesome. They checked out the Step area and called me back around 3:00 with the stair cost and best estimated labor cost. I said please proceed and expected the job to take a week or so. I could see they have a lot of RVs there for service. Robert called me at 3:00 Friday afternoon and said "come get it". I thought he wanted me to take it home until they got the parts in. You can imagine my surprise when he told me it was done! The cost estimate was right on the money. The whole job (parts and labor) cost me a little more than I could have got the parts online for - including shipping of coarse, and I would have had to install it myself. These guys are great! Dan is THE MAN. I brought my travel trailer in for safety checks and regular maintenance. Dan showed me everything that he found and took the time to thoroughly explain without being pushy. He was honest with what I needed and didn't. When I picked it up the guys explained that I was hooking up my sway bars incorrectly and showed me the proper way to do it and why. Dan took the time to adjust my hitch when I arrived to pick it up even though I knew he was really busy. Towing is so much smoother and I know my rig is in top top shape now. But after hitting some road debris on our camping trip, 3 blow outs later, and damage to our fenders and underbody including faulty brake wires, we decided to file a claim with our insurance. County RV worked with us and our insurance and got us back on the road within a week. 4 new tires plus 1 new spare, polished all my rusted rims, replaced all damaged parts within my undercarriage as well as re wired all my trailer brakes. I gave them about 3300 bucks for a braking system and the work was not good. Though it works now I had to return 2 times to get it corrected. Once for very shoddy install of the "in engine" compartment control box. This is in a 4x4 Jeep and 1 screw was used to fasten down the box. 1 screw? Omg. Was flapping all over the place on the first off road trip. Sorry guys but whatever happened to good old service. I think I should have raised cane there. read more
