However, it helps with the process when the staff are kind and willing to assist in the manner they are able. Most clerks/customer service employees here cannot answer certain questions or provide advise that may teeter into "legal advice territory" which is completely understandable when they're not practicing attorneys and are to remain neutral in the cases. However, they can answer some questions and especially if one is careful in how the question is framed. I have been to this court a few times, it feels lighter than the ones down town (for obvious (to me) reasons), I don't mind coming up here when I have to and when I do, I leave feeling a little more at ease than when I first arrived. Today, the same was true. Be patient, be kind, and remember these are our public service workers and they do their very best, I believe.

All my statements are accurate to the best of my knowledge and based with documentation alineing with AZ Law and Family Court guidelines. This review reflects my personal experience with the family court system and the impact it has had on my children and me. Several judicial decisions in my case left me feeling unheard ( Silanced), unprotected (DV), and deeply concerned about the outcome for my family. I had presented evidence supporting my position, yet rulings were made that I felt did not adequately address the risks and issues I raised. As a result, I experienced a loss of confidence in the process ( who I have mentioned ) and its ability to protect vulnerable families. DV survivors or trying to survive. One judge approved an Order of Protection that was necessary for my safety with a confession. Another judge later reached a different conclusion with no evidence. While I respect that judges have discretion in interpreting the law and evidence, the conflicting decisions were difficult to understand and had significant consequences for my family. I also encountered procedural requirements that, in my opinion, made it more difficult to present information that was videl important to the court's consideration. ( personal preferences on formatting ) Throughout these proceedings, my children experienced considerable emotional hardship, which remains my greatest concern, untreated childhood PTSD. I am pursuing the legal avenues available to me because I believe the decisions in my case should be reviewed, Michelle benched with a full investigation, a qualified Horrible Judge. My hope is that future improvements to the system will ensure that all parties are heard fairly and that the well-being of children remains a central priority and our system is outdated to today's level of malicious and malevolence. Went through my purse...like for real! (As it should be!!) . The security was better than I EVER experienced at an airport! I forgot my hip is titanium...so I beeped going through security. Very professional metal detector (wand)...All good. The pro bono lawyer was excellent, and I learned more in that ten minute session...than the last few years. Lol. The review would have been a two stars...but the very nice lady at window 1 where you file divorce papers, the amazing lawyer who filled me in on a few things, and the security being exceptional...earned another star. Clorox wipes were by public computers and hand sanitizer stations were easily accessible. Brian help us. He was super friendly and very helpful. We also visited the law library, which was very clean and all of the employees there were very friendly. After one person finished using the printer area an employee went over and wiped everything down and made sure everything was neat and organized. Overall, we had a great experience. On the side of the main building are administrative office and the Cave Creek Water Department. In addition there are Blink EV charging stations. Not completely sure the purpose since you can't use your arm to open it but I guess if it was a hot day, it would be helpful. Upon entering you not only have to walk through the metal detector, & have your personal effects go through the imaging machine but before you walk through the metal detector, you scan your wrist for temperature check. I think this is great & super helpful. The building is beautiful. You should definitely check it out when you get a chance.

This was in fact my…read morefirst experience with a Pima County Sheriff that was actually kind of an a**; he literally threatened to extend my fines because it was during, "aggravated driving hours," wtf ever that means. I mean, if someone is angry because of traffic, why are you going to justify that anger? And nothing about my demeanor was angry, I fully admitted I made a mistake. But, I digress... I had issues with paying my fines, so I called the courts. The clerks (2 I talked to over the phone) at the court were freakin' awesome, absolutely understood my struggles of being a dad of 3 and constantly super busy all the time. The first guy gave me the run down on what I needed to do, and explained it ALL in detail. He even extended my due date to help me out further. He then gave me advice on what would be cheapest, and would look better on my record! I followed his advice, but found some trouble in Arizona's website building skills... I got the majority of my ticket forgiven, and was attempting to rectify the last portion of it, but Tucson's court website was down. The second guy knew the system was down, and granted me an extension again; an absolute life savor. I even called 10 minutes before they close (which is right when I get home from work)! And he still helped me out without complaint. I'm sure you do that all the time, but it really is appreciated, guys!!! The negative reviews on here seem to be from foolish or just anti-cop people. But take a page from my book, and call them! If you get anyone as awesome, kind and helpful as the two that helped me, they'll help you save your own butt (only you can ultimately help yourself).
