What a great experience!…read more My step dad is a mechanic and we found this place while searching local shops to get a transmission reprogrammed for my Lincoln MKX. We have never really used an auto repair shop, seeing as he does it all, yet this was one thing that needed to be done after replacing the transmission. One word : IMPRESSED. Quick and friendly service and honest opinions about the car - which is really appreciated - you don't always see this when going to a auto shop. If you are looking for ANY car service needs, go to Essex County Auto Repair. Highly recommend and we will be back if we need to be. Bravo!

$200 to put your car on their lift and go for a test drive and no diagnosis, didnt even scan it…read more They were not completely transparent about this charge even after spending 35 minutes on the phone about all the requested diagnostics, including a stalling issue connected to the gas tank requiring a simple scan on a 1998 Camry. The tires were not the cause of the vibration at 70 mph only and when turning right and there is no clunking. The car is at a Toyota dealer now and the vibration has been solved without changing tires and the fuel and brake lines are normal. The front tires are reported to be at 6/32 and still good, but this shop doesnt even know how to measure tread depth. I walked into the shop after their closing time at 430 and Anthony was on the phone with no one working on my car which should have been ready for pick up. Nothing but frauds here. Never been so disappointed by a new shop, never again. Had to read the tire pressure label for them after finding out they didnt even put the right amount of air in the tires. Shameful.

I brought my 2018 Ram 1500 to a local dealer after I had some serious bucking in my transmission…read morewhen I had a hard downshift while under load. Picture going up a steep hill at 65 and needing acceleration to pass. I asked them to flush the fluid and change the filter as some recommended this at around 100K and I was at 90. It cost me 1200.00 to replace the pan and filter and then I got the news that I needed a new transmission for 10,200. I found WCT and asked Kyle to quote me a new or refurbed transmission. Instead, he questioned whether or not the transmission needed replacing. My cost for having my transmission fully diagnosed to find that it was a fine transmission with plenty of life left was a bit more than 1/10 of what the dealer charged me.

Amazing all around! The mechanics, the staff members. Everyone here was just so nice, honest,…read moresincere and skilled! Every step of the process was laid out in detail and The job was even done 5 days earlier than quoted! The shop was even nice enough to make some extra repairs for no charge as a military discount! The inside of the shop was sparkling sparkling and clean and the wonderful auto mechanics were friendly and always kept me up to date with the status of my vehicle! The invoicing was absolutely flawless and I was charged exactly what was quoted. In fact, I paid less than quoted, considering the extra repairs done as a military discount! The warranty is very considerate and generous, right along the lines with what the dealership itself offered. Furthermore, I paid about $2,000 less than I was quoted by the Chevrolet dealership in Putnam, Connecticut. Upon getting into my vehicle I was blown away of the performance! My Chevy Impala drives like brand new with 155,000 mi on it and a brand new transmission and I am confident I could probably drive it another 155,000 miles or more! Thanks again to everyone at World Class Transmission in Mendon, Massachusetts!!! This place is truly world class!
