Prices are usually somewhere in the middle (like Jimmy Eat World, but not like Maren Morris ew, ok fine around here it's very like Maren Morris ew) and they have restrooms, are open 24 hours, all kinds of stuff inside, some of which is unusual and fun, along with all the usual convenience store immunities. I mean amenities. If you want immunity from prosecution though - maybe speak to the cops that are perennially in here.

New flooring and paneling was added. A grave disappointment, especially since they refer to themselves as a "travel center." The only reason I awarded more than one star (let alone 3) is because of the Whataburger restaurant that they added. Hands down, this is the best Whataburger that I have ever visited. EVER. The drive-thru line moves quickly, the window clerks are prepared and prompt, and the food is ready once you arrive at the window. If you are a fan of milkshakes, I can honestly say, I have never had a better one! Thick, rich, and you can taste the ice cream AND the flavor: Very much like the old fashioned shakes from the drug store era. My advice: Unless you plan on visiting the Whataburger, keep driving.
