There is an incident tonight where it took 20 minutes for me to get my meal and some people were coming in complaining that they had been waiting for around 40 minutes. Josh handled all of it really well, even though he was not to blame for the wait. He and a few other people, maybe two seem to be the only ones really doing their job. I'm not sure what the kitchen staff was up to, but it was too long of a wait time for fast food, like ridiculously long. I enjoy this location, but it does need employees that do their jobs and listen to their manager, which, from what I observed may have been the case here. I walked away tonight incredibly pleased because that manager offered an upgrade to my meal for my wait. Things like that can make a break a business, and while McDonald's is doing just fine I'm sure people would be happy to take their business elsewhere if good customer service isn't offered. It was tonight, and even though I had to wait, I was still very pleased.

Back to the taste of the food, which is what you are interested in, not the size of their takeaway box or the name of their toasted bread. I like their chicken. For me, their chicken has a great taste and by the time I bring it home and open the long box the chicken is warm and the fries are cold. Their takeaway service is nothing special, not in Warrenton, but eventually they will have your order ready, maybe. Price is expense but so are the other fast food chicken locations. Yeah, we stop for coffee and see the fried chicken, fish, shrimp stand towards the back and we ask the cashier if it's any good. She highly recommends and says they bread and fry it onsite everyday. OK...we are kinda hungry so we give it a shot. Fried tenders and shrimp to munch on as a snack in the car. We pay and head back on the road. As we dig in we discover tasty, fresh chicken tenders and shrimp with a nice peppery seasoned crunchy exterior with little grease. Man, these are tasty. The whole family loves it. Can't wait to stop by again on our next trip to Cville. We've all been talking about it. Don't let the outward appearance fool you...they make some delicious fried morsels here. Make the stop! Final note: I will say you should ensure you stop by around peak times. We came by around 2:00pm and the tenders lost its crunch vs when we got a fresh batch.

They get a second star for fixing the order. But seriously? They were not under-staffed. Appeared to be plenty of employees wandering around. They just seemed to be grossly incompetent (but nice?). Nearly every person ordering returned to complain that something in their order was wrong. And everyone was waiting 30+ minutes. Unbelievable. Management/owner really needs to figure out how to fix things. Because they gave out additional food to fix wrong items, almost definitely higher than expected operating costs.
