Stopped in to pick up a cheap styrofoam cooler and some ice - had bought some meat products at a local farmers market which I has not planned on - and wanted to keep the product cold. No dice! Or I should say - they don't carry any coolers - just ice. I picked up some cold bottled water and asked to use the restroom. They directed me around back - turns out it is a Porta Potty/Dons Jon facility - not an actual restroom. They have all the normal convenience store goods here - soda, water, snacks, basic toiletries and supplies. Gas pumps outside. Staff was friendly and apologetic about not having coolers.

It's a good place to stop for gas or supplies if you are headed down to Bryce Resort. I pulled into gas the car up. They don't allow you to pay at the pump - you have to actually first go inside, get authorized, then gas up. You can pay for gas here with a credit card. The convenience store portion of the operation sells a wide variety of canned goods, bottled water, soda, toiletries, and more. You can also get hot coffee and tea to go. Finally, there is a Deli counter where you can order sandwiches, burgers, breakfast foods and such. You can also pick up fishing and hunting licenses here. However, there does not appear to be a public restroom. I asked after gassing up - and the lady at the counter told there was not a public restroom.

We ended the trail at the north end of Peter's Mill, and we needed to air up bc our portable compressor was not functioning. They ended up having a superb air compressor to use, the attendants turned it on from the inside. We were aired up and back on the road in less than 10 mins!

Outside there was a small local farmers market with great produce, baked goods, roasted almonds, etc. After my tail ride I stopped back for a pepperoni roll - totally worth it. In my opinion it was not the type of place you want to be after dark. The gas prices were high, and the food counter looked like it needed a good cleaning and replenished with fresh fried chicken and fries. How did I gauge that?…read moreMaps, the last time it was updated there, this building was not even a twinkle in the map universe. I had to use this location solely for facilities usage. Breakfast earlier, with a sweet tea, was needing to escape. I was happy to see this on the horizon, that familiar awning. Ample space on this lot, was able to pull up, jump out, and scuttle to the facilities. I was in sweet relief, and especially since the facilities were in near pristine conditions. Once outside, I used the opportunity to stretch the legs before hitting the rest of the road on the way home.
