My cart was full, and I only spent around $130. Unfortunately, the customer service at the register was disappointing. While placing my groceries on the conveyor belt, I greeted the cashier three different times. She didn't respond, didn't make eye contact, and didn't acknowledge me at all. I even moved closer and said "hi" again, but still nothing. Another employee came over to help bag my groceries, and I also helped by placing the bags into my cart. After paying, I said "thank you," thinking maybe the cashier had a hearing issue. I repeated "Thank you, have a good day" loud enough for both employees to hear. She finally looked up but still didn't respond. I said "thank you" once more, and she eventually replied, but in a rude tone. She was working register #2 around 11:50am today (8/27). She didn't have a name tag, but my receipt shows the name Darlene B. I hope she receives coaching on greeting customers and providing basic courtesy. Every customer deserves respect, and front‑facing roles require professionalism. Experiences like this can impact whether people choose to return.

We were spending about $120 or more a week grocery shopping at Martin's. Now we never spend more than $60 a week; usually less. Thats a huge saving over the course of the year (about $3,000). The selection here is much more limited of course, but that makes shopping a lot faster and easier really. Now we just go to a "normal" grocery store if we are after a particular ingredient that Aldi doesn't carry. Some things here I don't care for, like their frozen seafood. The things that they do very well (that we've been using regularly) are: eggs, milk, yogurt, lettuce, avocados, cherry tomatoes, onions, apples, carrots, broccoli, bell peppers, tortillas, clementines, hummus, cheese, nuts, salsa, broth, bread, chicken breasts, frozen veggies and fruit, crackers, and chips.

Zero stars!!! The owner and his wife act as if you are a valued customer until you disagree with their constant badgering for "not so fresh chicken" I have seen a 7yo selling alcohol and tobacco. At least two of my friends & myself have had food poisoning as a result of the "not so fresh chicken" they serve. I know of multiple products on the shelves that are out of date. My friend bought a past due slim jim last week. Spoke with several of the American employees that worked for them and heard constant complaints of treatment and unfair wages. I have been a major supporter of this place in the past but never more!!! read more

As a longtime fan of Popeyes, I was moved by positive reviews of their fried chicken to give Neer's a try. I have to admit that it was excellent, crisp on the outside but still moist and flavorful on the inside. I chose the 4 piece mixed so I got to try both the white and dark meat; both were very good. Their blueberry biscuits are terrific! I would certainly go back there. read more

To clarify, a Breakfast Sandwich is a sandwich with a minimum of egg and a breakfast meat. THIS IS NOT ON THE MENU - however, the store does offer hot and cold sandwiches. Hot offerings include a burrito, fries, cheeseburger and even a Pulled Pork sandwich. Cold offerings are standard cold-cut fare. Apparently there is some confusion about BBQ. This store does NOT have a BBQ grill nor do they offer BBQ products (ribs, chicken, brisket). However, the store does offer a Pulled Pork sandwich which can be misconstrued as "BBQ". In all, the Market Basket is a convenience store that serves a handful of hot and cold items that are very much akin to 7-11.
