I had an excellent experience with Country Rose Florist. I ordered flowers to be delivered to a patient at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem. I asked the hospital (in advance) if he was permitted to receive flowers in ICU but when the delivery driver arrived they did not accept the arrangement. The staff at Country Rose took it in stride and came back the next day to deliver it to his regular room, as the patient's condition had improved. I am so grateful for their exceptional service! I'll upload a photo at a later time if the recipient shares one with me. They created a beautiful overflowing basket of green leafy houseplants that can be repotted and used separately at a later time. 5 stars! read more

I ordered a fruit basket for a special friend for Christmas. I went into the store and ordered it live with the clerk. I spent $75 on fruit. I specifically wanted a pineapple and grapes. I ended up with a basket that looks about the size of a football covered with an umbrella of bananas hiding everything underneath. Certainly not the presentation I would've expected for $75. I don't doubt that the fruit is fine. But when the florist could not find a pineapple or grapes that I specifically wanted in the basket she didn't let me know. So if you'd like to get a basket about the size of a football field with massive amounts of fruit that is not presented in any way shape or form as a gift, then go to this florist. If you'd like something creative and beautiful you could probably go to Giant and get a better basket. When I called to complain about it she said I could initially return it with the driver. When I went to call my mother who actually paid for the item and asked her what her opinion was the driver left. So when I called the florist to say I didn't want this basket delivered and I'd prefer to go do one myself she said oh you can't do that now the driver is gone. Just disappointed that what you order is not what you get. I ordered two of the same spring Sonota arrangements well in advance of Mother's Day to ensure having a great arrangement and a scheduled time for them to be delivered. I upgrade to the deluxe arrangement. While ordering was easy and delivery was on target and the recipients are happy, I am disappointed with the sparseness of the flowers compared to the photo and size advertised. I ordered flowers on Tuesday for a funeral on Thursday. I specifically ordered the flowers to be delivered to the church. They asked what time the service started, we stated 10am so they said the flowers would be at the church at 9am. Now imagine our surprise when we arrived at the funeral of a woman we knew for 40 years to not see the flowers we ordered. My wife was devastated to say the least. I called Country Rose and they proceeded to tell me there was some confusion as to where they should be delivered. I asked them what was on the delivery order and the employee read back to me they are to be delivered to the church. At that point I told them to refund my money. At that moment the service was starting so I had to hang up. The incompetence is unbelievable. I only gave them one star because you can't give negative stars. It's hard to believe that a day of mourning can be made worse but they achieved that goal read more

If I could give this business ZERO starts I would. Ruined our wedding by screwing up our order, no offer for a refund and charged us for flowers we never received. Instead of offering to make things right a few hours before the wedding, they just blew us off as if we did not matter. THINK TWICE before buying from Country Rose. I received a vase of flowers from Country Rose sent from my work friends who own a florist I worked for in Virginia,I have just Re located here in Bethlehem. The arrangement included 6 red roses, This was Monday, by Tuesday one rose died and the baker fern was going yellow. By Wednesday 5 roses had died. I called the florist and explained what happened, the (owner/Manager) offered no apology, just explained how long roses should last in an air conditioned room. I said they were in an air conditioned room and had died in a couple of days! She then said she would take my name and number and when I could, go to the shop and she would WRAP a couple of roses up for me to add to my arrangement. I said I would be right over, I took the vase with me. On arrival, she said " oh I wrapped them, did you want ME to add them for you", Well yes I thought that's the least you can do and still no apology. having worked in a florist which offers excellent customer service, we would have not only exchanged the flowers but would re deliver them to the customer!! If its your fault or not The Customer is not happy so please put it right!! I will not recommend Country Rose! read more

I had a funeral on Labor Day Monday ( 2017). On the Saturday before, all the florists in the area were all ready closed or booked and would not be available for Labor Day delivery. Janelle at Country Rose went out of her way to get flowers to the funeral home in time for the wake. At first I had called Ashley Florist and I spoke with George. He could not do anything for me but he had suggested to call his sister Ashley at Country Rose- he said she was there and she can maybe help and to tell her I had talked to her brother. Ashley was so very nice. I explained my situation and she said she could make up the flowers but not sure if the 'funeral home would be open to receive them.She asked me to hold on the phone while she contacted the funeral home. Funeral home secretary told Ashley they will call her back in 15 mins being the director had stepped out. I was then asked to call her back and she would let me know if they would take the flowers Saturday. I called back, Ashley said all is good. She would make up what I wanted and delivery them to another location and that on Monday the Funeral home will go get the flowers. She helped me in the flower selection. She made suggestions of sturdier flowers being they had to sit from Saturday till Monday. My flowers were at at the Funeral home on Monday and the colors were what I had asked for. That is customer service!!! ( and KUDO'S to George from Ashley Florist for suggesting another florist that might help me- even if it was his sister working there. Evidently they have a great relationship, and help out one another. Thank you Janelle!!!- Customer service is not like it used to be and so thankful for when I do get great service. read more
