He was driving when I called, but he pulled over and took some notes. I gave him her favorite color and the idea that I wanted to send her a hug from 2,000 miles away. Chuck nailed it. The problem I faced is that my wife and I had to be in Bethlehem on family business Valentine's Day rather than at home in small town Vermont. I checked reviews of florists and based upon the reviews I asked Chuck to create something bright and cheery to be delivered to our motel the evening before Valentine's. When I picked the arrangement up at the front desk, I knew it was something special, and I noted the clerk's reluctance have them leave her desk. It is now two weeks later, and we are back in VT and have been enjoying their beauty as a promise the snow, ice, and cold will eventually yield to spring.
