I've received a decent amount of flower arrangements in my lifetime, and all have been very beautiful. Today I received my first arrangement from Ashley's Florist. Recently I've been going through some things. Still, I was surprised to see a florist van pull up in front of my house and the delivery man head towards my front door. The moment I caught a glimpse of the arrangement, my eyes bugged out and my mouth dropped. A cat and a fish made of flowers?!!! I've had flowers arrive in martini glasses and rabbits at Easter time but never something like this. Making it even more special is that the arrangement came from my mother-in-law. I haven't always been her favorite person so for her to send me flowers, let alone flowers that look like a cat (she's a dog person), it is quite a step forward--no, a leap forward--in our relationship. HORRIBLE!!! Please do not waste your money on this flower shop. I bought my mom a premium bouquet online for Mother's Day and she received a tiny bouquet that looked NOTHING like the picture. Advising everyone about this because I was extremely upset. Not only that but some lady did not want to give me my money back. She only wanted to take off $20 and then she refunded me half of my money. My mom called because she was upset and felt like I was being robbed of my money and she managed to get me my full refund back. The moral of the story is that I should receive what I ask for and not be ripped off. I will never ever order from here again. False advertisements. read more

OMG so when I called I had no clue on design so I said my wife if from the Dominican Republic and loves vivid colors I don't want the traditional red rose style can you please design something and they did not fail when my wife got the flowers she said she cried on how beautiful they were and the fact that I remembered but in all honesty I didn't I called Ashley's Florist last minute and with my luck the we're working on 3 weddings but they my this happen for me so a million thanks to Ashley's Florist for making this happen and have definitely gain a repeat customer. My experience with them was horrible! I've attached a photo of what I ordered through 800 flowers and attached the photo of what they sent to my mother... I called them and told them that that was not what I ordered the woman told me that those were pink roses I said they were not, she said "I'm looking at them right now and they are hot pink" you be the judge! She was rude and proceeded to tell me that she called my mom and my mom's said she loved them and that that should have been fine. I informed her that I am your customer, I paid for them, and that's not what I ordered my mom has no idea what I ordered and didnt know what they should look like! On Sunday, February 14, 2021, I ordered the Extra Large Always On My Mind Flower Bouquet, in pink, for my fiancé from 1-800-Flowers and requested that it be delivered on Thursday, February 18, 2021. On Wednesday, February 17, 2021, I received a call while my fiancé and I were out of town from the driver for Ashley's Florist who 1-800-Flowers uses for deliveries. The driver said he had left the flowers on my doorstep and hoped that it was okay. Nothing could be further from okay. The 18th was significant because that is the day that my fiancé and I were celebrating Valentine's Day and that date is significant for us in general. In addition, we were out of town and wouldn't be back until the evening. Furthermore, the driver delivered the flowers a day early and left the flowers on an exposed doorstep where they could have been taken and were exposed to the elements. That day it was twenty four degrees outside. Why anyone who works for a florist thought it was okay to leave fresh flowers in twenty four degree weather or why anyone would think anyone's fiancé would want to receive flowers that had been left on the ground is beyond me. If I wanted flowers that were on the ground, I would have picked them myself. My fiancé is very germ conscious and the last thing she would want is a vase that had been on the ground. I told the driver that we didn't want the flowers left in that condition and told him to bring the flowers back to the shop. I then called Ashley's Florist and requested a refund. The person that I spoke with told me that I would have to contact 1-800-Flowers for a refund as his shop had not been paid yet and then he abruptly hung up on me. I spent hours on the phone with 1-800-Flowers trying to rectify this situation. Had Ashley's Florist called me prior to delivering the flowers, not after the fact, and communicated with me, I would have considered making this situation work but they didn't communicate with me at all. The least they could have done was facilitate the refund, but they couldn't even deliver in that department. Also, despite the egregious error, neither the driver nor the person I spoke with at Ashley's Florist apologized or did anything to make the situation right. When I was finally able to reach the owner, George, all he did was make excuses for the poor way that Ashley's Florist handled the situation instead of apologizing and something to make the situation right. read more

I've used Ashley's Florist for Teachers Appreciation luncheons, and several school events. No matter if it was last minute or planned weeks before Ashley's always came through! They have creative ideas such as making an arrangement look like a pencil holder base! Teachers would rave and rave about how beautiful the arraignments were and really enjoyed having a beautiful table arraignment. Flowers are fresh and plentiful! I ordered the all white healing flowers and the family I sent it to sent me a pic to thank me! Well the flowers looked ridiculously terrible and I know that they can't make it look exactly like the picture I ordered but at least put the same amount of flowers! There was barely any in the vase it is really the worst experience! I ordered from 1800 flowers and they offered me to collect the flowers and resend another one "a better one" but that's too embarrassing this family lost someone and don't want them to have to go through more than they have to!! Unlike other florists needing a day or more to process the order, Ashley's delivered the most gorgeous bouquet the very next morning. WORST florist EVER!!!! Unfortuneately for me and for my loved ones who get suckered into using this florist (because they order online, they live far away) this place doesn't give you what you pay for. Recently, flowers and balloons were delivered to my house, on a crazy windy day. I was at work. Instead of coming back later or leaving a note, they left the flowers on the driveway and tied the balloons to the door. I have just spoken to one of the nicest people in the world at Ashley's Florist. Her name is Amy. Too over the top you say? Not when you are a single-father, searching for a florist at 6:30 pm on Valentine's Day to deliver flowers to your daughter, a senior in college at Lehigh University, because the florist you called using an "800" number NEVER MADE THE DELIVERY! A delivery order that was paid for two days ago! A daughter for whom Valentine's Day has been celebrated and not missed in 21 years! It also bears telling that I was calling Ashley's from Virginia, where I reside. After explaining my predicament to Amy, she explained in the most compassionate, sensitive and empathetic manner that she would be unable to process my order at this time. However, she did offer to ensure delivery first thing in the morning. And she said it with such sincerity that my calm was restored. What was so striking about Amy was her authenticity. She was was truly genuine! Even though it would be a day later, that would now be okay; the pressure and feelings of guilt had subsided. And in support, I offer the following: I described what I would like to order, 1 dozen roses with added sweetheart roses, some baby's breath and three mylar balloons. Now Amy knew I was desperate and pretty much willing to pay anything at this point. So what is a capitalist to do? Did she take advantage? Did she try to upsell me? I even told her to use her imagination and add more flowers if she thought it would look nicer. So what was my total? Including taxes and delivery, approximately $126.00!!! But we're not finished. After finishing my order, I received a call back from Amy, explaining in the nicest terms that, "I think I must have copied your card number incorrectly because the number I provided was declined." This would have been the perfect time for cracks to appear, if her demeanor was just a facade. Such was not the case. Since I was calling out of state, my bank requires prior authorization for such purchases. But here again, was she rude, impatient or condescending? Not at all! I called my bank and had the block removed and it was smooth sailing. What I experienced with Amy was not just good customer service but EXCEPTIONAL customer service. And we all know just how lacking that is these days. I also learned that these "800" florists keep more than 30% of the cost of the transaction. I am DONE with "800" florists and their extortion tactics with small businesses. So, if you're interest in EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE, REASONABLE PRICES, AND QUALITY FLOWERS you should definitely include Ashley's Florist the next time you're considering a floral arrangement for personal or professional reasons. read more
