The club has a sultry, refined, and dreamlike atmosphere. There is a wide range of personalities, appearances, and performance styles, with dancers showcasing a variety of qualities and forms of artistic expression, from individual charisma and stage presence to dance, acrobatic ability, fashion, hair, and makeup.
The interior has changed considerably over the years. The seven Honey Suites were redesigned in 2024, and the club has upgraded its seating and modernized its VIP areas. Some older online photos, particularly those that have remained on Yelp for years, can give an outdated impression of the current interior. The club now has a darker, more contemporary look, with colorful stage lighting, neon and LED accents, and pools of colored light throughout the room. The lighting gives the interior a theatrical, nightclub-like atmosphere.
Friday and Saturday nights are generally the liveliest, with the greatest number and variety of dancers performing. On a typical Friday or Saturday night, more than 20 dancers may work at the club over the course of the night. Because the club remains open until 6 a.m. on those nights, dancers come in and leave at different times and work different shifts, so they are not all present at the same time. The dancers performing can vary from night to night.
Sunday through Thursday generally have fewer dancers working, with daytime hours having the most limited selection of performers. I recommend avoiding daytime visits unless a particular dancer you want to see has specifically told you that she will be there. Some negative reviews may reflect daytime visits, when the number of dancers working is much smaller. A daytime visit does not necessarily give an accurate impression of the club on a Friday or Saturday night. The club can also be contacted in advance to inquire about how many dancers are scheduled to work on specific days and at specific times.
The large main stage features four poles and can accommodate multiple dancers, with two often performing at the same time. Another stage is enclosed by a cage-like structure and features an aerial hoop, or lyra, for solo performances. Dancers perform two-song sets and rotate throughout the club. The performances range from traditional pole dancing to creative and acrobatic pole routines, as well as aerial performances on the lyra.
The club also has a social side. Guests can watch the performances, socialize, talk with dancers, or arrange private dances. On my visits, the music has generally been well balanced in the main room, while the private areas have quieter music and a more subdued atmosphere. Private areas are located beyond the "Pleasure Palace" sign. The Honey Suites provide a more private setting, while the club also has VIP seating and other private areas. Options can vary, so guests should speak directly with the dancer about what is available.
The cleanliness is particularly impressive. On my visits, the restrooms have been exceptionally clean. There is also a shared vanity and sink area, with an attendant present during busy times, along with amenities such as mints, candy, and fragrances.
Located just off Interstate 64, the club is easy to access. Ample, well-lit, gated on-site parking is monitored by security and cameras, with additional space in an adjacent lot for large vehicles.
Photography is prohibited inside the club, helping preserve the privacy of dancers and guests.
At the time of this review, the Hustler Club St. Louis website is advertising complimentary admission before 11 p.m. Guests need to claim the free pass online before arriving to redeem it. Promotions can change, so I recommend checking the website before visiting.
