They came later than scheduled, charged her $361.30 for each toilet and were gone in 45 minutes. Called the owner to dispute it and he rude and indignant. I have had a drippy bathroom faucet for over 2 years. Wasn't bad in the beginning, but around…read moreChristmas it became a constant flow. Water bill reflected it as well. I also have been struggling with the toilet tank "guts" thanks to Martinsburg's hard water. I'd bought a new faucet and parts for the toilet, but after watching YT and assessing my space and my own abilities...chose to hire someone. Mark of Mountain View Plumbing gave me a quote based on labor/time for each of these. He's the owner/operator...something I like to support when I can. We scheduled for 9am, he called as he was arriving EARLY! Two hours and both problems fixed with parts I had bought to do it myself. He even fixed my tub/shower diverter stem I was starting to have issues with. We discussed a few hacks to get some more life out of the toilet as hard water is doing what it does. I then asked about my kitchen sink/drain and he verified that I can get RO and a disposal into that space. Now I just need to budget! As for his hourly rate, it is totally fine for skilled and licensed labor. He didn't nickel and dime for the little things he used (tape, etc). I appreciate that. I also know as a former business owner, he's covering travel costs, insurances, taxes, etc. with that rate. I will be using him for more projects as my own budget permits.

We couldn't ask our daughter to house sit with no water. We called Daryl and he fit us in right away. Until the part could arrive he somehow managed to repair the holder/sleeve enough to turn the water back on, and offered to return that evening if our daughter had problems. Daryl is talented, very knowledgeable about a lot of different systems, and an extremely friendly person. His prices are very fair. I highly recommend Daryl and his company, Serenity Plumbing.

I've used Micks for years. It's odd reading some of these other reviews. The main two main reason I…read morekeep going back are because the prices are great and the work is amazing. In one case, I had them check a hose bib while they were here for something else. Turns out the previous owner had the pipe cut out during renovations. Asked for a quote to run a new one, the price was amazing. They did the work immediately and even looped the pipe under my sink so I could get to the shutoff without having to crawl into a crawl space. More recently I had them replace the HVAC. An army of the politest most professional tradesman showed up and completed the entire job in a day. They are and will remain my go to for plumbing and HVAC work.
