You just have to agree on the protein as the sizzling plate with protein and peppers and onions comes as one big stack. Service again friendly and fast, however one thing that cropped up second time in a row which makes me believe it's intentional is lack of attention after the food is dropped. No one comes back to see if ok or you need a refill on your soft drink. You have to wave someone down. Both times restaurant was barely 1/2 full and different servers as well. Hmmmm Anyhow you get pictures this time. Good filling deal for $50 for two

I've been to this JA for a few times for the movie date nights, quick lunches with friends and just…read moreto grab a few pints. The bar area is bright and well laid out with a good mix of booths and high tables. I can't comment on the dining room as I have never sat in that section. I tend to prefer to sit in the bar area as it always seems more lively. This time, we came in to grab some drinks and grubs before catching a movie at the Landmark Cinema (my favorite theatre in Durham region). We sat at the bar and ordered the usual bar fare with a few pints of non-American beer. Their pan bread is a guilty pleasure with soft, pan baked bread sitting in a delicious mix of garlic butter, some herbs and grated parm. Yum! Their wings were on the small side but fried well with the accompanying dipping sauces (med Buffalo and ranch for the veggie sticks). It was exactly what you would expect. The bar staff were jovial and efficient and we had a great pre-movie dinner. We'll likely to continue coming here for the convenience of location and standard bar experience.

It was a great group and we have managed to keep in touch. A small group of us recently met for dinner at Moxies, Fairview Mall. It was great seeing everyone over a good meal, just like old times. I had the Short Rib Beef Dip and most others had the Chicken Madeira Rigatoni, or Chicken Alfredo. My meal was pretty good, although a bit messy to eat. Overall, everybody enjoyed their meal but getting together was the best part. I'm already looking forward to our next gathering!

We started with the Thai Calamari, and oh boy--it was so tasty! The special blend of spices gave it a really delicious kick. The Pad Thai with Shrimp was another highlight. It came with plenty of shrimp and was packed with flavour. We also ordered the Thai Fresh Rolls, which were filled with lots of fresh vegetables and no meat. They were light, refreshing, and a great way to start the meal. Six huge rolls came in the order, so there was plenty to share. And of course, we couldn't skip dessert! The Mango Sticky Rice was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. It was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The service was okay, but the interior is quite outdated and could definitely use some refreshing. Overall, we would happily come back for the food. If we lived closer, we would probably visit much more often--but honestly, we'd be coming back mainly for the food!
