Our school will NEVER order from this florist again. From the very rude demeanor I received from the clerk that answered my phone call requesting a tax credit, because our school is tax exempt (yes, it was my fault for not letting them know we were tax exempt - placed order on line and there is no space for typing tax exempt # and forgot to call.). When I asked to have the manager call me she told me "she didn't want to take my name and number becuase she could see from the caller ID that I was calling from Maryland" . . . when I stated that I would like to have someone call, she made a tsk noise and said all this for a $3 credit! Needless to say, the customer service ONLY GETS WORST from the bottom up. When Manager Kay Edwards called me back she agreed with her sales clerk and then asked me how long I was in the business that I "should have know I was tax exempt and let them know" . . . I replied we are all entitled to mistakes, and I couldn't beleive the rude tone she was giviing me. Incredible in this day and age when we are all tight with our budgets but still want to send and purchase flowers that the retail sales industry such as Country Manor Florist treats their customers like they don't matter. Well, my $54 order will go elsewhere in the future. My Assistant Principal lives in Hanover and we utilize the florist for convenience on her end. We are now searching for a florist that will treat their customers with appreciatation and gratitude.
