Great place that sells a variety of items to decorate your lawn or garden. They also have a variety of knick knacks to buy as gifts. Great atmosphere with excellent staff. Stopped by to buy flowers after a bad experience at a nearby flower shop and they were very respectful and helpful in suggesting flower arrangements for a funeral, etc. The florist was very kind and helped us stay within our budget. Will definately return to this store when i'm in Texas again. read more

I would give this business 10 stars if I could. I called late in the day Monday, requesting a delivery of 2 flower arrangements to the local hospital. Yolanda answered the phone. She was pleasant and helpful. I explained I was calling from out of state and needed help. She quickly assured me the order was possible, suggested flower and card information. I was put at ease by her sunny demeanor. After the order was taken , I was even surprised how reasonable their prices are. And...within 2 hours later,I received a call our arrangements had been delivered. The flowers are beautiful. If anyone need a florists, this is the place !!!! read more

I'm another who would give this business ten stars if I could. My sister and I have an elderly aunt living in Uvalde, and every time we call Country Gardens to order flowers for her, Yolanda comes up with something extra special. The lady is an artist. We also enjoy visiting Country Gardens just to chat with the staff and browse among the many delightful gift items when we come to Uvalde from our home near Dallas. But the thing that absolutely floored us was when the Country Gardens staff came to our aunt's hundredth birthday celebration bearing an amazing gift bouquet of 100 roses! I called Country Gardens & Seed and spoke to Yolanda right around mothers day. I informed her that I was calling from out of state and I didn't live in Uvalde however my mother lives in the estates and told her that I would like to order flowers for her for Mothers Day, asked her is she was open on Mothers Day and she said yes! I was so happy to here that she was open! I proceeded to ask her what time she was going to be open and she stated that it was going to be just for a short period of time in the morning because she needed to come in and water plants. That worked out perfect if it was going to be in the morning. I told her that my brother was coming in from out of town S.A. to visit our mother for mothers day and he would be picking up the flowers. Therefore I ordered a huge bouquet of flowers for my Mother, she stated that they would be ready for pick up Sunday, and then gave me the total of $174.50 which before I gave her my card to pay I asked her again what time on Sunday because my brother was going to be coming in from out of town on Sunday morning and he's going to pick up flowers before he get to Mothers. and she said call me tomorrow which was going to be Saturday and I will let you know for sure, she said that she was the owner and I had her word. That made me feel allot better knowing that I was talking to the owner, assuming that she took very good care of her customers. So I paid her for the flowers and called the next day to confirm time with her. I called 4 different times that Saturday. The first 3 times I called I was told by the workers that they were not sure and Yolanda was not there. Then FINALLY the 4th time I called insisted that I spoke Yolanda because she knows my situation. Finally Yolanda got on phone and informed me that they would not be at the shop until after 1:00 Sunday. I told her that she had said to me Sunday morning and that is why I ordered flowers. She knew that my brother was coming into town Sunday morning and needed to pick up flowers Sunday morning. She then proceeded to tell me " Well its Sunday and its Mothers day and I'm going to church and then out to eat." I asked her why she didn't tell me this before I ordered the flowers, I would of never ordered them, I specifically informed her that my brother needed the flowers Sunday morning. I informed her that I needed to cancel order and wanted my refund. She told me that I would be charged a 20% restock fee!!! That made me even more made, I was livid!! How could and OWNER of a store treat her customers that way?!! After she lied and said that she was going to be open Sunday morning, went and charged me card KNOWING that she was not going to be open until Sunday afternoon. She ignored my calls almost all day Saturday until they got tired of me calling and finally decided to answer. I gave up and didn't even want to talk to her anymore because I knew that I was going to just blow up. I said fine take your 20% for restock and refund the rest and she said ok I will thank you. I informed her that I was going to write a review and make people aware of how she treats her customers. That didn't seem to faze her one bit. I DO NOT RECOMEND this florist to anyone and I will never ever order from her. I ended up going to HEB and ordered flowers from there for my mother. They were BEAUTIFUL and more professional. I explained my situation and they completely understood and took action the way any GOOD business person would. read more
