On top of this, once we moved in to the unit we had some questions about his findings and tips for fixing some home issues and he thoughtfully helped advise us. I would recommend Clever Inspections to my relatives and best friends. I am sure you will be satisfied with the service. I compared prices with three other providers and Clever Inspections, though not the lowest, provided the most thorough estimate and they more than lived up to their promise. We hired Wayne from Tri-M to inspect a property we had an offer on in Lancaster. The property is…read moreover 100 years old, and Wayne was a real pro for our older property. Not everyone knows what to look for in an old house - and he certainly did. He gave us tips about the foundation, pipes, etc..and was really knowledgeable. If you accompany him through the inspection (and I followed him around with a notebook), you learned all sorts of things about your home - he gave suggestions for future repairs, and pointed out things that were big fixes vs. things that we could remedy ourself. He was able to make an appointment quickly for our timeline, and got the report back to us very quickly. He also did a fantastic job with our radon inspection. For an inspector in the area, he did a great job, and I'd definitely use him in the future. The only thing I would love is if he had more referrals of reliable local businesses who could do the work on things that require repairs...but all and all, that's really not his role. What I particularly liked about him, is that he doesn't focus at all on the cosmetic things - which too many people do....instead, he focused on the big things - structural integrity, electrical systems, heating system, roofing, etc..the things that could really sink your budget. He actually take a ladder and goes up to your roof to look at it - and we had a 3 story place. For a thorough, reliable inspector who will go through both the internal systems and external integrity...Wayne does a great job. As you'll see from my other Yelp reviews, I don't always give positive reviews - but this guy deserves it. Solid integrity and inspection.

He was easy to contact via email, quoted a reasonable price, and we were able to set an appointment the next day. He arrived on time and was very professional throughout. He explained how his test was even more thorough than the abatement's company's test, as his actually would specifically ID asbestos fibers (vs a general fiber test the other company did). You can tell he knows what he is talking about. The test took two hours and I was able to work while Kevin filled out paperwork in his car. He contacted me the next day with the test results, and also sent me a certificate from the lab and his summary showing the air was clean. Note that Kevin only does the air testing (not the removal) and I used him as a second opinion to ensure the air was clean as asbestos is nothing to mess with! I would definitely recommend his company to anyone wanting to test their environment post abatement.
