This is a co-op type of brewery and from their own web site, this is how they describe themselves: "Our team has been working together for two years to bring this brewery to Kitchener. Each one of us brings a different perspective to this venture and a very unique set of skills formed by our diverse experiences. We have babysat for one another, met each others' parents, and celebrated each others' milestones, becoming much more than just colleagues in the process". Despite TWB doesn't serve the kind of beer I like because I found it to be too hoppy for me, my friend who like a much broader type of beers found this to be very, very good. Porbably one of the best top 3 experienced in the entire Waterloo/Kitchener area. So, since the standards my friend and I apply to the service and food industry are the same, I believe that the product TWB provides to its customers are of high standards. The brewery is small and very welcoming. We had the luck to meet with Shawn and Alex who introduced us to their product and the TWB phylosophy. They welcomed us with enthusiasm and promptly engaged in a conversation. You could tell they did not because they were trying to sell you something or because "we gotta do it because it's our job". They did it because that's what they like to do and because they believe in what they do. So, if you are in town, please, go and pay them a visit. It's worth your time. There's something for everybody. A great spot for an after work beer. Very low key with something unique on tap. The room looks great. Barn wood and led lights. Music docs playing on the TV screens. The staff are super helpful. Everyone I've met there is a brewer. "This is my beer" I'm told as I'm handed my pint. That's cool. That's cool as hell. They really want to make something special here and you can tell. They're off to a great start!

They generally have ten to twelve beers on tap ranging from lagers, ales, sours and sometimes a stout. They are all delicious in their own right although drinking barrel aged fruited sours is an acquired taste in my book, but trust me try them and you may learn to love them. But why else should you go? There is limited food (it's a brewery not a restaurant), no TV's to watch the game, a steady stream of classic rock playing in the background, kids running around and a few dogs to greet you on the way in. To make matters worse the cell reception is awful, my wife always had a hard time reaching me. Hmm, maybe that's not all bad... What kind of place is this, anyway? It's a modern twist on an old fashioned FAMILY oriented brewery, that's what! There are plenty of board games to play, the local regulars are always happy to share some stories, and the staff are the coolest people around. They have a great Mug Club and if you are lucky you get your own hand-thrown pottery mug with your name on it! Very cool... Female bartender was very friendly. Place was quite lit on a Saturday afternoon. There was a long, communal picnic table outside, but no umbrellas in sight. Selection wasn't huge, there was a few beers on tap with 4 samples in a flight ($14). Glasses for the flights were quite BIG! Please see pic. The DDIPA/stout were standouts. There wasn't any food/snacks - maybe chips - on-site, but there was someone doing a BBQ outside, but I was unsure whether or not that was a Saturday special as I didn't see any signs.

Drinking beer at the bar- table while he keeps you company and keep offering you samples( without anything in return) makes you experience pleasure. Now the beer: IPAs are great. I loved Hopposites Attract the most, there was an charity beer, the earning from which 100% goes families with cancer kids, i loved the idea, that with the right intentions, one can help the society by any means! Be it the beer. Sunkiss is their regular IPA it was citrus and refreshing. For snacks are usual but very cheap, not a rip-off! So the overall experience is excellent. Coming back here soon!!!!!
