I would not recommend this company…read more We installed $3000 worth of granite from them as part of a bathroom remodel. The backsplash was not cut at the same time as the countertop (their mistake). The MC installers suggested the backsplash be cut to 5.25" instead of 4". My contractor told the installers "don't cut the backsplash yet." I called MC that same day and told them "don't cut the backsplash yet." 2 weeks later the backsplash was cut to 4". Jorge the owner said he was not told about the change and that I should have emailed him (which no one suggested). Apparently all of the remaining material was sold to someone that needed a lot of 4" backsplash so a new backsplash couldn't be cut. After too much discussion the owner eventually offered $150 off because of the mix up. My credit card was charged the final amount without my approval or a final invoice. Owner states "I'm loosing money" because the crew had to come up a second time to install the backsplash (which they were going to have to do anyways because of their original mistake). Owner states "I'm loosing money" because customer (me) is being too picky by performing a final inspection of the install prior to signing off on the work at end of the day. Overall a very frustrating experience with questionable business practices. I would avoid this business.
