Loved visiting this little brewery. Live music on the patio! Beer flights and cocktails. Good food! What is not to like. They have their own little parking lot that is limited but less then a 3 minute walk is a paid parking lot so don't worry about not finding a spot to park, it will be okay. The charcuterie blew me away! A lot of local meats and cheeses. Delicious pickled items and some candied pecans. read more

Excellent brewery restaurant in Orillia. Not to be mistaken as a pub / bar this brewery is serving some seriously fresh and tasty dishes. From the fresh smash burgers to the jerk chicken sandwich to the best oysters on the strip. Not a huge menu but perfect to feed you right. Beer is excellent with over 12 on tap and they have an excellent wine collection. They also have one of the better patios on the strip. We visited Couchiching brewery the evening of January 27th/24. It was our first time to the restaurant. The food was delicious and came in a timely manner, every employee that we talked to was friendly and helpful. The wings were exceptionally good. Apparently they were short staffed but the two servers went out of their way to make sure everything was well looked after. I know one of them had been there all day but stayed well into the evening. Jaclyn Kenyon entertained us with her beautiful singing voice. We had a very enjoyable evening. read more

So I went for a visit a few months ago and they were preparing to open the kitchen to go along with their craft beer. I was finally able to to get back there and was lucky enough to get a seat on their patio. They do have inside dining and drinking. To begin my review I will be talking about Covid safety. I felt incredibly comfortable there knowing the staff is doing a lot to keep people safe. The staff ensure people wear masks to walk to their tables and all servers wear a mask at all times. Well done. We appreciate it. That is why you get 5 stars. Now onto the food. To begin, I shared the charcuterie plate. It was fantastic, consisting of 3 meats and 3 cheeses. The best part was the chutney... so good. Next was an order of musslels that was good, not off the charts. It had a bit of a bitter aftertaste that must have been the beer brine. After a few beers the fullness started to set in and I could only fit half of a main. I went for the ribs. It was served with an epic coleslaw that had dill and the sweetest corn. The ribs were terrific as well. All in all a 5 star experience. read more

Sat out on the patio. Waitress was polite, attentive and funny. The smash burger was great. The fries with the smokey ketchup, really good. We also had the parm sandwich. Very tasty. Portions a good size. Sampler beers, great to try things I haven't had before. Would recommend if you are in Orillia. read more

They advertise that they allow dogs in the restaurant on the patio so I gave them a call to book a reservation, I don't have a dog but, I do have two small cats that I take out in a pet stroller so I told them that I would have one or two of the small cats with me in the pet stroller and they seemed OK with that but then they asked how many people were going to be there and I said just one, I happen to not have a family and I'm fairly new to the area so I don't have friends yet then they said oh you can't bring cats so I'm like well why can you bring dogs and not a cat that is in basically a cat carrier so in a conversation it came out that the problem was that the patio was so small that everybody sits right together and you're crowded in, I am not sure that I believe that and to be honest I think the reason they did this is because they didn't like that it was just me and they wouldn't make enough money off of one person so they discriminate one possibly against having a cat rather than a dog so they might just be cat haters but I'm sure they're discriminating against me because I'm single and have no family or anyone else to dine with read more

We never got the chance to experience this little brewery, which is a shame because it came highly recommended. All be it, we were a large party of 18 showing up around 3 p.m. with no reservations. The place was pretty much empty and there was no one sitting on the patio outside. When asking if they could accommodate us out on the patio we were told no because we were too large of a group and we would have taken up most of the patio tables. The host explained that they had reservation coming in after 4 and therefore could not fit us in? She would gladly take a reservation for after 8 p.m.? What establishment turns away first time guests? This brewery must have enough business that it didn't need 18 new customers, who potentially could be repeat customers in the future. Upon leaving we were told by one of restaurant guests who was outside having a cigarette, we didn't want to eat here anyway because they were still waiting for their food that was ordered 40 minutes ago. Too bad for the brewery because they missed out on revenue from 18 customers. read more
