We went by the other day on a foggy day. It was shortly before Christmas and we wandered around the beautiful rooms to admire the housewares. The building is very inviting to begin with because it's wood and has brick flooring throughout. Everything is displayed artistically with lots of space and in a manner that you might use it in your own home, it's like walking from one beautiful dining room to another beautiful area of a home. I started adding pottery from the Garden Gallery to my collection of housewares and they have served me well over the years because they're always such high-quality. I always get joy from using them The designs and colors are always tasteful and they really go well with any decor. More than that, the way the objects are displayed together is truly artistic and never fails to inspire me!

Some of the real beauties are the frames and little animals that they make out of shells as well as the ships made out of shells. I got a lot of scallop shells to use to make craft items with, ranging color from pale white to a beautiful coral in natural colorations. It's a fun place to come visit and simply look at the multitude of shells, or stock up on all reasonably priced shells.

The machine was shown to "work" at the store; the lady turned it on, and it the needle/arm moved up and down. She assured me that it worked. When I took it home, I found that the machine was missing several vital parts and many pieces were broken, pieces that weren't apparent at first to a newbie like me. She took advantage of my unfamiliarity. I tried to return the machine, but the lady told me I couldn't. She basically told me that the machine worked as far as she knew, and that I bought it in that condition. It was a "final sale", because the machine was sold to me as being in working condition even though it wasn't. If she hadn't told me that it worked and that she had experience with sewing, I wouldn't be as sad and angry as I am, but she assured me, with all of her sewing experience and credit, that it worked. She even told me that it was sold to me at a high discount, and that new machines run as high as $130. I paid $40 for mine, but the fact is that it didn't work, and those $130 would go for a NEW machine in perfect working condition. Just a personal experience and warning about this place. Be careful when buying here, and don't pay any money you don't mind losing.

We recently purchased a wood desk for $50, plus an old 50's looking office chair - which was originally $2, but they threw it in for free with the purchase of the desk. The items are varied. Some of it I love, and some of it I don't. Some of it is a little pricey, and some of it is really cheap (in my opinion). It's a great store to check in with regularly because their inventory changes all the time.

We are EXTREMELY happy with the results of our project! We used Tinoco to repaint the interior walls, doors, baseboards, built ins, and ceilings in our entire home. They also did an absolutely fantastic job at flooring installation of our luxury vinyl plank flooring, as well as the removal of the existing tile that was in the house previously in some areas. We wanted the project done on a pretty fast timeline and Ray and his team made sure that that happened! They kept in constant communication with us and collaborated with us on our plans, budget, and overall aesthetic choices so that our home truly felt like our home when it was finished--and, I am SO happy to say that it does!! We had a great experience with purchasing our couch. The color selection that was available was amazing and the product is well made. We definitely would recommend the Couch Potato. They were quick, masked, and friendly in bringing the couch into our place, setting it up, answering our questions, and then heading out to their next job. Our washing machine arrived with a broken door and a delayed delivery (SM), the bed frame we bought was discontinued so we only got part of it at first, and the final piece made it over a foot too long to fit the space (SM). The sectional couch was set up wrong, arrived damaged twice, and after about eight months of delays we're still working on repairs or a refund (SLO). We want to keep supporting Idler's because of the great sales team, but the delivery and service side needs serious improvement, and our current couch situation is still to be continued.
