Meandering paths lead you through cottage gardens, shade gardens, and quiet Zen corners. It's a whimsical multi-acre experience with display gardens, gift shops, animals, a farmstand, and the largest year-round Christmas store in SLO County. Beyond plants, you'll find antiques, books, home goods, and garden art. It's one of my favorite places to pick up unique gifts for family and friends, and somehow I always leave with something for my own garden collection. There's also a seasonal farmstand offering fresh produce and local eggs from nearby ranches. It's peaceful, magical, and endlessly inspiring, always giving me new ideas for my own backyard. They sell clothing, scarfs, beanies and gloves as well as jewelry. The store is nicely decorated and the displays are lovely. The prices are not too terrible either. I found a really nice pair of gloves for myself. The owner was very sweet. She let us know that there was going to be a Christmas boat light parade later that day. I bet it was a lot of fun.

(I live about 40 minutes away and wanted to find out if they still carry it before making the drive). Apparently the clerk I got on the phone was, unfortunately the same one that has gotten several negative reviews. She sounded older, think she said her name was Martha. I hadn't even finished telling her what I was looking for, and she cut me off, saying "Could you please call back, thank you" and hung up on me! Just like that! Not sure I want to make an hour and a half round-trip if she's going to be running the store, and I don't even know if they have what I want! Owner needs to consider either having a serious talk with her, or letting her go (hopefully she isn't the owner!)

When I mentioned it was my first time, she welcomed me and explained all about their teas, especially the honey powder, which I had heard sells out quickly. I've been wanting a sweatshirt that says Cambria on it. I found one that I liked but wasn't the right size. The gentleman at the front greeted me and told me if I needed anything to let him know and that he can also customize things. I asked him how long it took. He said right away. But then of course the size I wanted wasn't in stock. Go figure. He offered to order it and make it and then ship it to me. I asked what the turn around time was. He said he would have it out by Monday. It literally took him 3 or 4 days and he shipped it out Monday. It was so fast! I literally got it two days after that. I loved the way it came out. I also did ask for something and he said he can do it but it won't turn out the best. I was grateful for his honesty. Their customer service was top notch! I will definitely be back to visit next year and see what else I might find.
