I came across this pizza place on Hungry House one evening, and we decided to order pizza in as they do gluten free bases. Please note that my three star rating is based on the gluten free pizza here, but I think that the regular pizzas were a lot better, and of good quality.
My partner ordered the pepperoni pizza with a normal base, while I ordered the seafood pizza with a gluten free base.
The pizzas are cooked in a wood fired oven which is a bonus, and come with a good range of toppings to choose from. The wait time was quite long, I think we waited over an hour, but they did make us aware that this may happen.
Both of the pizzas came with a sprinkle of rocket on top which made it a nice touch, and were served on corrugated card, to avoid the base steaming.
My pizza tasted good when it was hot, but as it cooled it lost a bit of quality, and the base become squeaky, like some gluten free bases can. I did enjoy that the sauce was spread right to the edges though!
My partner's pizza was really good, with lots of toppings, and the base was cooked really well and tasted authentic.
In saying all that, I think we would order from them again, the prices were really reasonable, and as I said my boyfriend really enjoyed his normal pizza. They also come in different sizes (gluten free only available in 12"). read more
