I have an interesting insight into Dynamy and how amazing it is. My experience with Dynamy began…read morealmost ten years ago when I hosted my first intern from the program at a psychiatric facility I was overseeing. From my first experience with Dynamy, I could tell they truly cared about the students, the community and those they worked with. I loved it so much, that I eventually went to work for Dynamy. I spent 4 1/2 years there working with students, overseeing residential life and strengthening our bonds in the community. The culture, team and students made this easily some of the most memorable and enjoyable moments of my professional life. Fortunately and unfortunately, I moved on to pursue my bigger career aspirations. However, in my new role as a Director for a local Worcester technology company, I have made sure to maintain the connection to Dynamy. We host at least two interns per semester and the communication, follow through and genuine caring of the Dynamy staff toward the students and internship sponsors is still astounding. We love working with Dynamy and the interns have helped transform the way we are able to do business. Students work on web design, graphic design, content creation and more. Although I don't work at Dynamy anymore, I still consider it a second home. If you or your son or daughter are considering a gap year program, then Dynamy should be the first place you check out.

When I was at Touchstone, not only did I receive an incredible education in terms of the necessary math, science, and literary skills to go on to be extremely successful in higher level courses in High School, but also every skill necessary to take on the inevitable academic adversities that have come my way further on in my doctorate program at Northeastern University. I find myself still recalling the study skills I once learned at Touchstone, the ability to problem solve new situations that I may not have had to overcome in my more traditional high school education. One of the most important things I have come to appreciate as I get further into Higher Education is the knowledge of how to learn and apply yourself related to my own abilities and preferences. The skills I learned at Touchstone allowed me to tackle the rest of my schooling with confidence and a level head, one of the hardest things to maintain throughout schooling these days. Socially, the model at Touchstone allows for kids to grow as individuals, while building relationships along the way. There is no room for degradation of others due to deviating from the norm and becoming one's best self. I was able to explore all of my interests, and find out areas I could prosper moving forward. Overall, Touchstone was by far the most wholistic aspect of my education thus far. It gave me the skills to tackle every aspect of life with enthusiasm, determination, and general fulfillment, constantly staying in touch with my long term goals while enjoying all the moments along the way.

Neither of my children had been in daycare previously, and were understandably nervous. The entire staff took care in ensuring that they felt safe and comfortable in their new environment. My son graduated from preschool there this summer, and I'm amazed by all the things he has been prepared for entering into kindergarten. With COVID restrictions in place, we were not able to attend a typical graduation ceremony, but the staff took many steps into making it a special and memorable time for him, and for us, and we couldn't be more grateful. My daughter loves going to school each and every day. She is to the point where she doesn't even say bye to me any more, and just walks right in. She, too, amazes me with all that she is learning, both socially and academically. If you're looking for a caring, safe, welcoming, and clean environment for your children, that feels like home, then this center is for you!
