This place has it all. And it's open all year around. Salt rocks. Star Wars. Star Trek. Space suits. Animal suits. Cave man, kilts, wigs, mustache, beards, hats, canes, skeletons, temp tattoos, novelty pins, prank gifts, fake blood, teletubbies (for adult and kids), doctor, nurse, fire fighter, police, and all the other Village People. They sell and to my knowledge do not rent costumes, but you should ask to be sure. Adult costumes, masks and hats. Couples costumes (ketchup and mustard, two different colored M&Ms, etc). And lots of great kid costumes. I was looking for a certain king costume, the kind that likes banana peanut butter sandwiches. They had royal kings, medieval kings, king crowns, capes and even king rings. And yes, they had multiple Elvis, the one and only King, jump suits! Good news for me is that they allowed my to try them on before buying. Bad news is that either the sizes run small or I've gone 'fat Elvis' because several were snug like no one needs to see snug. While my favorite jump suit did not fit THIS Elvis, one did fit and I was good to go. It's not cheap. This is not a thrift store. It is however a magical store where dream and fantasy touch the earth, right there on White Bear Avenue. read more

I bought an XL corset and it's too small for even my size small grandma!! it's insanity and then they denied an exchange even for the same thing in the proper size! they don't give the option in store to see if it fits and you're screwed if it doesn't!!! read more

I have cancer and due to my chemo treatments, I am losing my hair. I called ahead to ask if it were possible to try on wigs, since my son is really not handling the hair loss well. They have suspended trying on wigs due to COVID, but said they'd make an exception for me because of the cancer. Lucia and her team were FANTASTIC. They helped me find some wigs that were of great quality, and when they learned what styles I was interested in, they helped me find more wigs in similar styles. The whole time, they were insistant that I take my time and find what I need, and helped me make some decisions about what looked best on me. They even let me stay a little while after close so that I could make sure I had all that I needed. They were friendly and helpful and knew their products and what they had in stock really well. I felt incredibly cared for the entire time I was there. In addition, the whole staff either wore face shields or masks, and the store was clean and everyone in the store kept 6 feet apart. I cannot recommend this store enough. They have an amazing amount of variety in their stock AND their customer service was some of the best I've ever received. read more

if you need a costume, this store has it! Plus tons of accessories to lend authentication. The prices are very good. This store is an incredible resource. if only it were centrally located in the Twin Cities, instead of Maplewood, which to me may as well be in mid-Wisconsin! It also sells furniture, statues, fountains at very low prices. The staff might be a little 'too helpful', glomming onto you as soon as you wander in. i'm sure they are extremely helpful at costume suggestions and hacks, but i like to be left to browse and let my imagination go, then confer with a salesperson. i am sure i will be going back to this store again and again, and will be telling my friends about this hidden gem in deepest, darkest Maplewood. read more

This is a great shop. I was costume hunting and out of all the Halloween shops I hit, they had the best quality in selection of accessories along with all of the bagged costumes. They have pretty much anything you would need for makeup, with prices comparable to other shops in the cities. The gentleman who runs it is very friendly, great customer service. Plus, during the Halloween off season half of the store is a sweet international bazaar/world market theme. Fake blood and elephant shaped incense holders. It's definitely worth a visit. read more

This place is a hidden gem! So many costumes...everything from simple to complex to build your own. The staff was amazing. They were friendly, helpful, and professional. I love this store! I literally go there for any party I attend. I've gotten costumes for parties, make up for Halloween, Venetian masks for masquerades, and more since they are open all year. They also have other cool things like incenses and, my favorite, a variety of Himalayan Salt lamps, I got one there and they're so relaxing.
