"Upgrade your membership if you want to come in early. It's fast food. It's cheap, it's quick, it's not healthy. It tastes pretty good. I normally don't eat here but we had a Costco run planned for Friday night and we made it out of the house a bit late so the kids got too hungry to wait, so we ended up eating here. Their hot dogs are good, pretty standard hot dogs. I got the hot turkey sandwich and it was decently good. It was very filling and packed full of turkey. On a Friday night we were able to get a table to eat at, which is nice because normally they are super crowded. read more

I splurged (I mean by calories LOL) and ordered a cheese pizza last week. When I went into my car and opened the box, it was a disaster. I didn't go back in so I called the food court manager, and she took care of me immediately. What could have been a one star review is now turning into a five star review all because of the manager's (first initial J) quick and professional response to me. She is.amazing and I think she will go far with her career at Costco. She seems like a really hard worker and takes pride in what she does. I wish her the best of luck. read more

This food court location is typically always out of something every time. I can't help but laugh at myself for falling for it repeatedly. The least they could do is put up a sign when they're out of stock so customers know what not to order. No ice for cold sodas one day, no straws for the smoothies the other day, they told me to drink it thick from the cup. Today no condiments for the pizza or the hotdogs. Service is unapologetic. Ambience, it's Costco, you're here for the prices, not the atmosphere. Manage your expectations accordingly. Clearly, the team is understaffed at times, which might explain some of the chaos. This is an INSIDE food court, and it uses the automated ordering system instead of standing in line. With the use of the ordering system (no cash, use CC only). I come to this Food Court during lunch from work about 1-2xs/week. The convenience of the ordering system or standing in line makes it a very quick response to getting your food (be it just a hot dog, or a whole pizza, or anything else). The staff has it down pat. Food Court managers should be proud of the staff because there is absolutely NO drop off in service. They are fast, quick, and work great as a team!!!! It's been several years since I visited a Costco's Food Court. I had stopped by to look at some big screen TV's on my lunch break and decided to grab something quick to eat. This particular Costco food court is located inside Costco just after the registers. I ordered a hot dog, slice of pizza and churro. 1/4 lb. all Beef Hot Dog ($1.50) - For over 30 years the price has remained unchanged and includes a 20 oz. refillable fountain drink (Pepsi products). The bun is soft and slightly sweet and holds everything together without getting soggy. The hot dog itself is flavorful and juicy. I typically add deli mustard, ketchup and onions to my hot dog. At $1.50 this is a steal and it tastes amazing! Churro ($1) - I was surprised at how HUGE the churros are here. They consist of twisted fried dough, smothered in sugar and cinnamon. It's a great treat to satisfy one's sweet tooth. Cheese pizza ($2) - This is no ordinary slice of pizza. It's 1/6th the size of an 18" pizza, which is like 2 slices of an ordinary pizza. The best part is that it's a New York style pizza, meaning it's a thin crust hand-tossed pizza. It's massive, loaded with cheese, and tastes great. For less than $5 I had lunch with a drink and dessert, and the best part is that it tasted great! Honestly, it was more food than I should have eaten. While this isn't a particularly healthy option, it's an indulgence I don't mind satisfying once in a while. read more

The only downside is, when you come in for food- you cant sit down you have to walk all the way back outside and eat and then come back in for shopping. I used to love the food court at Costco. When I was little, I'd always walk around the warehouse with my mom while sipping on their famous Berry Smoothie. They recently upgraded the Tustin Costco's food court with an all new set of self serve machines. I tried the chicken bake, hot dog, and new açai bowl just about two weeks ago, but besides the hot dog, the chicken bake and the açai bowl were a huge miss. The chicken bake got way smaller than I originally remember (it got much skinnier - previously it was a big fat sandwich) and the filling was really bland :( The açai bowl didn't really taste like açai at all - it just tasted like frozen ice with a faint hint of berry flavoring. Honestly, this was kind of the biggest disappointment for me because I was really excited to hear that Costco was releasing açai bowls! I decided to try the cold brew mocha freeze today. Obviously I wasn't impressed if my review only earned two stars, however please keep in mind the two stars was rather generous. The self check out kiosk was the most impressive part of the experience. I didn't have to wait at all for my drink to be processed and then made. That was impressive. Apparently, We are stupid when we go into this Costco store. I ask one of the cashiers if she is opening, because she was checking out people in her line. She looked at me like I was an idiot and pointed to the sign that said closed. Of course Costco consumers can read,so why would she point to the sign as if I could not read!!! . The food court employees do not acknowledge you when you come up to the window, they are unorganized and running in circles, I ordered a whole pizza from the kiosk, after a waiting for a bit they finally acknowledged me they informed me that my order would be a 10 minute wait, after 5 minutes there was whole pizza boxes left in the ready box and after about 20 more minutes is when the individual handing out the orders looked at the order numbers and called my number, after realizing that I also had an order of chicken bakes which he had me wait longer while he so patiently put those in bags, it was a frustrating time having to wait 25 minutes for a pepperoni pizza and 2 chicken bakes. I am a huge Costco fan and where else can you feed yourself for under $5 and it is good? I really like that it is quick and easy to get a hot slice of pizza or hot dog and go. I would say that I miss the choc/van swirl with berries that they use to have. I hope they bring it back for the summer.
