Costco is usually busy on Sundays but this location was a hot mess at 10:00 AM. Parking isn't so bad because it's a very big lot. We had an issue with our card, but thankfully Ann was able to help us immediately and expeditiously. She was great! Her help was probably the best part of this Costco run. When we were ready to pay the line passed where the Greek yogurt is and was almost by where the prepared meals are. The line was insanely long. We finally paid and naturally had to grab something to eat. This location has the smallest food court area I have seen. They barely have seating. read more

Getting gas was quick and easy. The price was excellent. It was only $2.69 a gallon for regular. Store closed at 7 PM on a Saturday, so we had to get in and get out before it closed. We only needed parchment paper and replacement heads for our Oral-B toothbrushes. The layout of the store is very difficult. The replacement brushes for the electric toothbrush were on the other side of the store away from the regular toothbrushes. The parchment paper was on the end of an aisle with the aluminum foil and Ziploc bags. The employees are wonderful. They are friendly and efficient. They also went out of their way to help us find what we needed. read more

I popped in today to stock up on essentials for a long weekend and I was really impressed with the pricing of the meat. Another great thing to pick up is wine. Bottles of Champange from the Costco brand are just $20 with Kirkland brand Prosecco is under $7. The only thing about the Costco experience that you have to mentally prepare for all the lines. Purchased over $1K in Pinstripes gift cards / e-gift cards at store AND online Costco.com but now Pinstripes went out of business here & neither Costco local stores + Costco online willing to assist. Simply told me gift cards are non-refundable & therefore I have to eat them to the tune of over $1K. I am, or better yet, WAS a high volume buyer there. NO MORE! Worst customer service ever at both, store level AND online. Wasn't even asking for a refund. Was asking to replace w/ gift cards to anything else that isn't currently OUT OF BUSINESS. They also keep moving items to different places making them difficult to find. As always Costco offers great products at great price. It is the best place for buying in bulk. Their private label brand Kirkland is top quality you can trust. My favorites buys here are steaks, rotisserie chicken, almond butter, mozzarella, salads, smoked salmon and wild caught salmon. I love their Kirkland vodka and tequila to get parties started I will be coming back to this location just because it's close to my house, but not as frequent as I was visiting before. Food court review - 40 minutes for a whole pizza is truly embarrassing, management should be ashamed of themselves. In that 40 minutes over 100 orders went through and of those only 4 were for whole Pizza. This is the closest Costco to my house so it's where I usually go for my Costco needs. Dont try to come here on the weekends if you hate waiting in line for a long time to pay for your items or to fill up your tank with gas because during the weekends it's always very busy. Most of the time when I come here my must buy items are: #1 Costco chicken #2 Kirkland Beef Hot Dogs (their huge!) #3 hot dog buns #4 2 cases of Kirkland Bottled Water #5 2 cases of Coca-Cola #6 I always eat at the cafeteria, a hot dog + soda only costs $1.50 + tax. #7 Costco Gas which is a little less expensive than going to Chevron (the next least expensive) Their interstate batteries are also an awesome deal when you need to change your car battery. My only gripes with this Costco are that: #1 Their always moving things around so you have to go searching to see if they still sell them. #2 They often remove products that I enjoyed buying from them like Campbell's Canned Soups, Progresso Canned Soups, Health Choice Canned Soup, The big box of Red Pringles Tubes, and the Chocolate Chip Cookies with the granny painted on them. #3 Their instore deals on video games suck compared to BJ's who sometimes sells game bundles for really cheap ($20 or so), I remember once I purchased the Tomb Raider I, II, III trilogy from BJ's for PS2 for like $20 and another time in BJ's I purchased the Homeworld PC game along with two other PC games in a triple pack for $20 but Costco doesn't have deals like that, usually the video games at Costco are full price or a minor discount. #4 Their lines are always huge on the weekends, shouldnt they schedule more cashiers on the weekends if they know that their going to be more busy on the weekends? read more

This local Costco is one of my faves. Although one of the oldest stores in South Florida, many of the associates have been here since opening. They are constantly bringing in new products and the store is always clean and organized. My only complaint is that they have done away with the books section. The lines tend to move along fast even during the busiest part of the day or weekend. They also help you in the self-checkout section. The food court could be larger but it works. They recently added self-checkout POS systems in the food court and are working out the kinks with the customers. read more

En el día de hoy fui temprano en la mañana a echar gasolina de ahí decidí recargar de nitrógeno mis neumáticos , fue una esperiencia horrible ninguna de las 2 maguinas me funcionaba correctamente apenas conectaba la mangueras de aire , daban una señal de error , le pedí ayuda al trabajador de la gasolinera el cual trató de ayudarme pero tampoco supo que aser , luego me dijo que iva a llamar a su jefe , luego que ya venía llegando ( nunca vino ), pasó como1 hora , el trabajador de la volvió con 2 trabajadores más , una dama y un caballero joven el cual luego de un primer intento enseguida diagnosticó que mi goma estaba en mal estado , yo les dije que eso era imposible que era una goma nueva , que había llegado allí sin problemas , manejando por más de 30 minutos , que incluso había abastecido mi automóvil de combustible y lego decidí completar de nitrógeno mis gomas , que era un problema al parecer de las maguinas ya que me funcionó en una goma pero en las otra . y daba señales intermitentes y diferentes en la pantalla de ambas maguinas . perdi una hora y al final todos dieron su espalda y me dejaron solo allí sin saber que aser y sin solución ninguna mi problema , me sentí realmente decepcionado , después de pagar una membresia EXECUTIVE MEMBER , no tenian una solución ante un problema de este tipo que le pueda ocurrir a cualguiera de sus clientes , me di cuenta que el personal a pesar de tener las intenciones de aser lo no está preparado o entrenado para enfrentar ese tipo de situación de emergencia como consecuencia llegue tarde a mi centro de trabajo , Al final y a pesar de mi frustración , puse en práctica varias ideas y pude gracias a Dios resolver por mis propios medios , aplicando la lógica y los conocimientos que la vida ofrece .use una bomba de aire que siempre llevo conmigo , cambie la posición del volante y así cambió la posición de la valvula de la goma comenze a bombear aire y vi como la goma se recuperaba lentamente , luego interrumpí el flujo de aire y conecte la manguera de nitrógeno y se iso la magia , mi llanta se recuperó sin problemas . NO ESTABA DEFECTUOSA COMO QUERÍAN ASERME VER , gracias a dios no ise caso de lo que me sugerían que comprara una goma nueva allí en su tienda cuando abriera que la mismi con solo 2 meses de uso . antes de irme fui a la bomba la di las gracias al trabajador por su intención de ayudar , le espligue que debían de capacitar mejor al personal , para que entendiera que cuando un automóvil llega con las gomas demasiado bajas de aire la maguina de cotsco siempre dará un error . en conclusiones una gran decepción y pérdida de tiempo además de un warning por llegar tarde a mi trabajo donde esperaban por mi personas que problemas de salud desde muy temprano . (Yes, I understand economics, that it's hedged off our membership fee). Then there's the convenience of being able to buy practically everything in bulk, from black forest ham to dog toys with buffalo wings thrown in. They also sell fresh vegetables, and gourmet cheeses. Prepared dishes - I'm sure those turkey rolls are a big reason why I have to go to the gym - are there for your tastebuds. You can almost make a meal out of the free samples in practically every aisle. The only complaints I have are with the checkout lines, which can take a long minute especially on the weekend. read more

It took them approximately 30 minutes to take the tire out and find the root cause of the problem, put the tire back on the car and leave the car lifted there for the next 30 minutes. I love going to Costco. Place has everything at great prices. This particular Costco was one I used to regularly shop in when I used to live in Hialeah. I found myself once again in the self proclaimed "city of progress" and since I need to make some purchases at a Costco and was nearby I decided to make those purchases here. Found a lot of what I needed to buy from everyday purchases like Pepsi (I can never find any place that sells soft drink at a lower price than Costco), starch spray, fabric softener, and laundry detergent to gifts for Christmas...found nice wines and boxes of candies/chocolates to give to loved ones for Christmas all reasonably priced. My only gripe about Costco and especially this one is that certain things you have come to usually expect to be in the store will disappear never to be seen again....case in point my Starbucks Vanilla Frappuccino's or the deviled ham I buy.... Mango cheesecake & guava cheesecake. I don't know much about mango cheesecake but if it's anywhere near as delicious as the guava cheesecake I had at the Cafe at Books & Books (they were selling it one time for dessert - $6 a slice), then I'm sold on the mango cheesecake as well! When I need to make Costco visits with my mom, this is her nearest store so I meet her here for some bulk purchasing from time to time. It literally borders the palmetto so the commute is very simple. I do like how easy it is to access the gas station directly from the parking lot without having to go around the building like other locations are set up. I always like to stock up on mostly non-perishables because they are always cheaper to buy in bulk without the fear of anything spoiling. The chicken breast packs are individually wrapped so it's a breeze to separate and store accordingly. Costco always has the best cheeses, cleaning products, frozen pizzas, wine, and household goods for a bargain which is why I'm an avid shopper here. It's perfect for those who live in the Miami Lakes/Hialeah area and need bulk-sized portions for their large families. The membership here varies in price but are worth every penny. read more

This Costco is absolutely the worst. My latest experience was the last straw. My boyfriend went to go return a candle that was under recall & everything was going smoothly until the customer service rep started doubting my boyfriend's membership. She asked for his ID, asked for his mask to be pulled down, account info and STILL denied it was him. Reason being is because he had a beard in his membership photo but no beard today, she questioned how quickly someone can lose their beard. After he explained to an adult woman that a person can simply just SHAVE THEIR BEARD OFF she went off about that it can't be him cause it says she took the picture but she doesn't remember him. We signed up over 2 years ago, how can a person REALLY remember thousands of people who come to Costco in a weekly basis?! ITS RIDICULOUS! When my boyfriend was able to flag down a manager to tell them what just happened, the manager just walked away laughing at his complaint & did absolutely nothing. Another time I was at Costco, a male cashier tried charging my mother $90 for a pack of paper towels. I told him that can't be right and he immediately shushed me away, did something on the register which then the total went to $50. I told him AGAIN there is no way that can be right & he got upset & told me he knew what was doing doing & again hushed me. He finally got the total correct but if I wasn't there with my mother that day, he would've gotten away with overcharging her. His response to me for pointing out the incorrect amount was beyond mind boggling & in no way acceptable in ANY store/setting. He was never once apologetic & never apologized, he was just annoyed that he was caught & rude as can be. I've had store employees yell at my mother in other times for not understanding something (English is her second language), not give me my warranty when I bought a tv & get upset when I came back to ask for it & insist I was lying (all the info was on the receipt tho), & they all become overly aggressive when denying their membership upgrade. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COSTCO, the customer service or just the basic human decency you get from other locations just isn't here. Then they help other people while we stand there wondering if we will be able to PURCHASE (meaning give them money for a product - which is what they are supposed to be doing). I can't even begin to tell you how much time we lost just watching them scramble around. Get your crap together Costco of Miami Lakes. Get some training. If employees as far up as managers don't care enough to be professional then how do you expect regular employees act? How do you expect long time customers to feel? How do you expect anyone to feel? I was paying at the register and the man who was charging my items told me the chicken did not have price that "I" had to run to the back and get a new one or he was not going to be able to buy the chicken. I politely asked him to please have someone get me another one and he said no that it was my responsibility to go get one if not I can not purchase the chicken.
