    Lots of pumps

I have only good things to say about this Costco gas station! The prices are always less expensive than at other gas stations. You do not need to be a Costco member to get gas here. The hoses are extremely long, so you can pull into the right or left lanes, regardless of if your gas tank is on the right or left side of your car. The attendants are polite and friendly. No cash is accepted, so pay with debit or credit card only. That gas station is to the side of the Costco store, so it is very convenient to gas up and then pull into the Costco parking lot and do your shopping.

Is always a 6 stat fill up, with a smile regarding of the weather outside. Gas up on 5/31 regular gas was 2.85. Outside same gas was $3. Gotta love it, i only wish more Costco centers had gas stations.

I find comfort in the consistently low prices at Costco Gas in Edison! No need to have a Costco membership to buy their gas. There are many lanes. Waiting is very organized. They have long hoses that can extend to reach the other side of your car. There is usually 1 attendant for 4 cars. I feel the lines moves at reasonable speed. I've been here many times and most of the gas attendants work quickly and attentively. The prices are usually low. Last night, it was $2.16/gallon whereas surrounding gas stations were as high as $3.09. That's a $0.93 spread! But with that being said, expect to wait and be patient. It's worth it -- you'll drive away happy. P.S. Card only, no cash accepted

Don't be that guy who uses a freaking debit card at the pump.

First of all--if you're from out of state, welcome to only one of two remaining states in the country that has state-wide full-service gas stations! (Oregon is the other state that doesn't let drivers pump their own gas, but depending on legislative action this year that may change/ have changed.) Overview: The fuel prices at this location are consistently among the lowest in Central Jersey, which make it a popular destination for Costco members, Costco shoppers, and everyone else who has no affiliation with Costco whatsoever--since NJ gas stations cannot refuse service based on club membership. The icing on the cake is that the bargain-priced Kirkland Signature™ Gasoline is also branded TOP TIER™--having five times the EPA detergent requirement in both regular unleaded and premium grades. Location: The area around the gas station can be accessed via either of the two entrances on Vineyard Road or the entrance by the Walmart on Rt. 27, whereas the dedicated gas station itself has only one entrance and one exit. Dotted white lines on the blacktop mark the six to eight lanes of pumps, which have extendable hoses that are long enough to fuel tanks on either driver or passenger side. Payment: Cash is not accepted for obvious reasons. Acceptable forms of payment at the pump currently include only American Express (may change due to Costco's credit card changing from AmEx to Citi Visa in April 2016) and debit card. Unfortunately, this last payment option is a major factor of the long wait times because: (1) Debit cards have Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) that need to be entered manually. (2) Debit cardholders have to get out of the driver's seat and have the attendant swipe an access card before being able to enter debit PIN. (3) Debit cards lock up after 3 - 4 failed attempts. If you must pay by debit, do yourself a favor and know your PIN before your turn or have another form of payment ready; otherwise, you're inconveniencing yourself and the drivers of the 5-7 cars behind you. Service: Service is generally slower compared to smaller gas stations, possibly due to understaffing. A single attendant is responsible for anywhere from 4 to 8 pumps. Attendants can sometimes be seen servicing customers out of sequence instead of first-come, first-serve. Needless to say, don't ever come here to fuel up if you're in a rush; budget at least 10 - 15 extra minutes into your commute or shopping trip. High turnover/attrition no doubt contributes to the varying levels of efficiency--and dare I say, professionalism--of the employees. Inhaling gas fumes all day in unforgiving temperatures would be demanding for anyone, but the amount of time wasted on idle chitchat and juvenile horseplay (with both customers and other employees alike) that could be better spent on pumping gas adds to the already staggering wait times.

long lines during the day, but they go relatively quick.

Pros: Cheap gas, don't need a costco Membership, long hoses that can reach over your car. Cons: Lines are almost always super long. About 20 minute endeavor sometimes. If you make a lot of money it might not be worth the time to save 2-4 bucks. I am a poor grad student however, so its worth the wait.

Cheap gas. Long lines. Friendly workers. You do not have to be a Costco member to get gas here.

Great value. Competent service. Usually long lines but worth the wait. Not a long trip and a good reason to get lunch and and ice cream.

Not a bad place to get cheap gas for membership discounts, however beware the lines can be long.

Workers are always friendly. They go as fast as they can go. You can not beat the prices they have.

The corner of the parking lot has a quarter-operated vacuum and air machine for tires. Employees are usually pleasant to deal with, but gas prices here are astronomical--the highest within the zip code--and currently $0.35/gallon more expensive than the least expensive gasoline options in Middlesex County!

The odd thing about this review is that it is probably a five star place, but the one thing that…read morekeep the ratting so low is the fact that the gas prices are through the roof. If you live close to here and you want to fill up on gas I would recommend going to one of the stations on Oak Tree Road or Plainfield Ave because they are much cheaper. That being said, there are always cars here waiting to get gas, so I guess they hit the market they wanted to (locals who don't want to drive out of their way to get gas). This place also has a convenience store inside, which is nice because you can fill up on snacks before you head out on the road or you can pick up a newspaper and a coffee on Sunday morning. They have a decent selection of snacks and drinks as well as coffee and pastries. The people who work at this place are very nice and most are local to the area, so it really has a neighborhood feel to it. They do have a vacuum and a tire pump on the corner, so if you need a quick touch up, you have those available to you. They also have an ice machine, a propane tank holder and a bathroom. Over never used any of those, but they're convenient if you need them. In all, this is a nice gas station with friendly workers and a convenience store, but you will be detracted from coming here because of he outrageous prices of gas. I recommend going here for the snacks and a coffee and waiting to fill up until you get to a cheaper place a mile or so up the road.

After filling up my car, he put the fuel cap back on but I did not hear any clicks. I did not get out of my car at that time. Got home and went to check it. Sure enough. The fuel cap was just on but not closed all the way. When I googled it, this is what shows: If a fuel cap is not closed all the way, it can lead to several issues including: fuel vapors escaping, potential check engine light activation due to emissions system errors, increased fuel evaporation, dirt and debris entering the fuel tank, and potentially causing rough idling or difficulty starting the engine; essentially, it can impact your car's performance and fuel efficiency due to the lack of a sealed fuel tank. Not sure what his problem was and had to do something like this to damage my car. This might be an isolated case. In any case, if you do get gas from them especially at night please make sure the gas attendant does close the fuel cap all the way to avoid above issues. Thanks for reading this review! Best of Luck!
