From Colorado and just love Bozeman but we are at Costco and it's Sunday and we can't find a single sample. Is this a Montana thing. I mean you have bear spray and I need this at the CO stores but where's the samples. I'd suggest the following for samples Cheese danish, icecream, breakfast burrito (evol), hi chews. This would be a good start.

Omggg that buttermilk bread!!!!

Okieeeee I use to really love Sam's club and I was really huge on Sam's club but now since Sam's club is a 2 hour drive for me my wife and I decided to give Costco a try and omgggggggg it's really amazing! First off the welcome package is the best and very thoughtful! Second best thing I love is the bakery is wayyyyyyyy fresher and the chocolate cake is absolutely wayyyyyy better than I ever had at Sam's club! The pizza, chicken bake, chocolate ice cream alll better and taste better and everything at Costco! I'm so glad we finally became a member at Costco lol and omggggggg they have fresh pet for our babies!!!!!!!!!!!

Costco gas is where it's at. Lowest prices around. You have to pump your own in Montana but that's easy. Always the best!!! Kudos to Costco.

What is not to like about costco gas. The setup in bozeman separates fuel traffic from costco warehouse traffic. The pumps are easy in and out. Prices are great, and i can't ever recall waiting very long in line. perhaps i come at just the right time. But low the prices & fuel quality - atleast for regular. Premium fuel prices vary from costco gas to costco gas stations (35 cents to 55 cents above regular)

I love Costco! But Michelle is rude and kind of ruined my experience here. Don't work in customer service if you're going to be sassy.

I pay all this money to be a member and I can't even pump gas when I want to? 9:30pm on a weekend and no gas allowed. That's fucked.

My daughter and I went here for the first time. There was parking on the street, and I believe…read morethere was a small parking lot near the store. It was raining, but we quickly made it inside. We found the salad bar we'd heard about and a soup station. We both decided on a bowl of soup. It was less than $5 per person, and the soup station also offered crackers or bread for an additional fee. The utensils (metal and plastic) were actually located near the entrance of the Co-op, not the soup station. The Co-op had a membership that appeared to offer a slight discount on prices. Overall, the Co-op was quiet, offered a mix of organic and specialty items, with a deli, salad bar, and soup station. Their cashiers were friendly. It definitely reminded me of Trader Joe's and Sprouts. Definitely would return and recommend.

**November 2025: Sunday Afternoon Visit**…read more My mom and I were looking for some local Montana gifts and food and saw the huge Co-op building on a drive down Main Street. The parking lot is kind of small, but we were able to find a spot to squeeze into on our visit. When you enter the building you'll see an impressive self-serve section and I noticed quite a few people loading up their plates or to go boxes. There's an island of ingredients to make your own salad and a couple of home made soups, and another area for hot items. My mom and I decided to share a squash soup, a small salad, and an assortment of hot items including South Carolina pulled pork, mac n cheese, biscuits and gravy, and mashed potatoes. I also decided to try a local kombucha which was really refreshing. We grabbed our utensils close to the exit and headed upstairs to enjoy our food. After we devoured everything we perused the main floor and bought a lot of Montana based goodies including teas, Bequet caramels, soaps, and skincare products. Suffice to say I spent quite a bit of money here, but I'm happy to support local and be able to share the Montana spirit with my family and friends! I'd say Community Food Co-op is kind of like a cross between Trader Joes and Whole Foods, but with a great emphasis on sustainability and local goods. Price range is $$-$$$ range depending on the items.
