STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! Purchased insurance here with my girl friend and then asked to get a confirmation of information on file and Vanessa Vasquez said no don't worry everything is correct. which I thought was odd. come to find out she had the old address and I was charged $75.00 to change to the correct address after being denied by Vanessa Vasquez to confirm the address when signing up. I then canceled my insurance after 2 days and was told by the Mgr Maribel that they would be keeping my $140.00 because they covered my insurance for 2days. This place is a nightmare at customer service and once you have giving your money they talk to u like you're a nuisance. During my experience with this place I was transferred several time's in one phone call and had to repeat my policy number 4 times and start over with the same issue to each person at this location. It literally felt like they were playing a game. so please look somewhere else to find professionals and btw I got full coverage from Geico which was 3 times cheaper than these jokers were charging. This place is horrible. #1 They charge a $250 broker fee on EVERY policy regardless of the size of the policy. #2 They do not know how to properly advise you with the right type of insurance. When my babysitter left the office after forking over her cash, she called to tell me I did not have to cover her. (I knew she had been misinformed) Had I not intervened, she would have had her registration suspended for lack of adequate insurance! #3 When questioned about the fees and the incorrect policy quoting, Clarissa used the "This is the company, not me" excuse. Ummmm....I work in sales. If I sold every item that I thought I could get away with to my customers even if it did not take care of their needs...I think I would be out of business. BAD business rthics Clarissa. Hopefully she will learn from this. #4 They committed straight up insurance fraud. The girl backdated the length of time my babysitter had been a driver. Not only does that they leave Cost U Less liable for fraud, it leaves her liable (and unaware) that her insurance in not valid AND she could be sued for insurance fraud. Insurance brokers are not all bad. Some serve a real purpose in business and for particularly insurance needs. But if you are purchasing a basic policy...there is no reason to be charged a broker's fee. And when it comes to insurance, you really need to know your policy or have someone that understands it, be involved in the process. Don't waste your hard earned money with this place. read more

Horrible experience! Walked in and only one person was working. No big deal. What put me off in a serious way was that I was not acknowledged in any way. No look up, nothing. So I sit there for 20 mins cuz I was in a bind an really needed insurance fast. Finally, I asked are you the only one working? The guy working says, "Yeah, sorry". Nothing else. Another 20 mins goes by. I ask, "How much longer until you think you can help me?" He says, "Im almost done. Give me 20 mins". Fine, I wait 20 min. Worse insurance company ever. It seems cheap but it actually costs more than other companies. If you want to add a vehicle to insurance policy, you can't do it online and it will cost $40 to add. If you want to remove a vehicle from the policy same thing another $40 dollars. You always have to go in person and spend minimum 1 hour at their office. If you get tired of this and go to different company they ll charge you $45 to cancel and if you refuse to pay your account goes to collection company. I just left this place. I went there to get a new insurance but nothing happened because their printer is not working and I'd have to wait for several hours for it but I need to get it done so I can go to DMV to register my vehicle. So the lady was trying to help me and answering phone calls and trying to fix the printer at the same time while her coworker was chitchatting, more like flirting, to a customer!! They were talking about partying?! I was like wtf?! She didn't answer any phone calls nor even typing! Just ran her mouth. OMG. I'm so pissed. I had to go to a different store. The men that work here are con artist. At first I was getting charged $600 for motorcycle insurance per year and when I slightly refused he managed to adjust the price and dropped it to $300 a year which was more manageable for me at the time. He was fiddling around with his keyboard acting like he was making adjustments but really he wanted to see what type of reaction I would make with the numbers he was throwing out. Like a dumbass I excepted the $300 per year but when I looked into the paperwork the motorcycle insurance was only $79 a year and the rest was a "broker fee". He did mention a broker but when he was talking he happened to say his broker fee real fast and at the time I didn't understand him... THE MORAL THIS STORY IS .. ASK ABOUT THE " BROKER FEE" ! A BROKER FEE IS WHAT HE GETS PAID FOR HELPING YOU..I would hate for these MFs to rip off another hard working person !! MENTION THIS REVIEW AND SPREAD THE WORD. COST-U-LESS IS A SCAM !
