The receptionists seemed new as we had a few challenges trying to schedule our services over the phone. Patricia colored my hair and did an amazing job. I'd highly recommend her. She's been working at the salon for 7 years and is a pro! Bella did the blowout and she too was a pro and has been there for a long time at 5 years. While waiting for the blowout, I had to ask my mother to ask someone for coffee after seeing everyone else in the waiting area drinking some. For whatever reason, I was never offered a beverage when I arrived or while waiting. It's a great salon with experienced professionals. I'd highly recommend the salon and the staff!

I now live in Philadelphia and still only book with Sarah whenever I'm home. It was so important for me to have Sarah there to do my hair for my wedding back up in Massachusetts and of course, my hair was beyond perfect. After 12+ hours of the hustle and bustle of the day, including dancing (and some drinking), every single strand was in place and it looked just as perfect as the moment she sprayed the last bit of hairspray on before I headed off to the ceremony. All I had to do was show her a photo of what kind of undo I wanted, and she nailed it. Not surprised of course... Sarah has become like family. We love her and have nothing but the highest praise for her, as both a person and an artist.

We walked into the shop, it's small but well kept. We were greeted by one of the hairdressers and she was very sweet and had a short consultation with us. She asked me what I wanted and I told her a press and curl and she said that was fine, but she turned to my friend and said that it wasn't possible for her to straighten her hair because it was too short ; she said the only thing she could do is a rinse. My friend has a tight curl hair pattern, where her hair shrinks to a short fro when it is actually shoulder length. You will not be able to see the true length of the hair unless it is stretched. My friend and I were both so shocked that they told us they couldn't flat iron her hair; if it wasn't for the fact that I had to be somewhere later that afternoon, we would have left and gone to another hair salon. They started doing my hair, and proceeded to spout out advice to my friend, as to why her hair was growing slowly? Finally, Alexia the head stylist, came over to check the length of my friends hair, and saw that her hair was indeed long enough to straighten. I watched as they joked about their minor mistake. Well, it wasn't a minor mistake. It was hurtful, and I could tell my friend was very hurt by the way they were treating her, asking her why her hair hasn't grown? Not very professional. Nonetheless, they did a good job on the press, both our hair got pretty straight. The stylist were nice, however, I would not go back because they don't seem to have a lot of knowledge about natural hair. They also seemed shocked that neither one of us are habitual pressers and that we wear our hair natural most of the time. If you are relaxed, then go here! If you are natural, this is not for you!
