Current student going through the program and may change rating based on ongoing experience…read more I started the program about 2-3 weeks ago, mainly because they recently began offering weekend classes, which worked well for me since I have a demanding full-time job. So far, unfortunately, my experience has not been great. I'm not sure if it's because the hybrid/online model is still new for them, but it really feels like they don't have the process fully organized yet. Most of the issues come down to lack of communication and unclear expectations for online students. Once I paid my deposit, I wasn't really guided through the next steps. I was briefly shown the portal we use for coursework (CIMA) and told to download WhatsApp because that's how we communicate with instructors. Beyond that, I pretty much had to figure things out on my own. I even had to personally ask questions in the group chat because I was confused, and it turned out several other students felt the same way. Eventually we found out there's an orientation every Monday, but nobody clearly explained that upfront. The virtual learning environment has also been frustrating. During online sessions, chats are muted and virtual students can't really ask questions because the instructors are focused on the in-person class. That honestly makes no sense to me considering online students are paying the same tuition as in-person students. It feels like the virtual students are an afterthought. Even submitting homework has been confusing. We use Dropbox, but I was basically just told to "download Dropbox" and had to dig through old chat messages to find the actual submission links and instructions. At this point, I honestly feel unclear every step of the way. I spend more time trying to figure out logistics, apps, links, and expectations than actually focusing on learning. The frustrating part is that these seem like very simple organizational issues that could easily be improved with clearer communication and better onboarding for online students. I'm still early in the program, so I hope things improve over time, and I'm open to updating my review if my experience changes.

I usually am unhappy when people touch my face but she was gentle and had so much patience with me. She exudes a positive attitude and is so easy-going! The makeup she used made me feel amazing-it didn't look cakey and I felt so comfortable wearing it throughout the day. On the day of my wedding she was on-time and got right to work. She knew exactly which makeup she was going to use on me since she made note of it at my consultation. The session was quicker and she made sure that the photographer took pictures of me in the room so that I knew how the makeup would look in the photos. I sent her photos and discussed my concerns about my lip discoloration; she reassured me that she could help me achieve my lip goals. You are given an email with pre care instructions (such as lip exfoliating beforehand and avoiding potential blood thinning agents like Advil ) and you also have to sign an agreement before the appointment. My first session was a neutralization due to the darkness and a hyperpigmentation / acne scar on my upper lip. You bring your desired lip colors so she knows your ideal look - you can choose the more natural or make up look (more pigmented). I had a student observing during the session which I didn't mind. I found her studio to be clean and professional. Overall tattoo/ PMU experience was tolerable for me (there is numbing cream and she asks if the pressure is okay while she's working). My 2nd session - I was able to deposit in the color I had wanted. She can see how I healed as well and where the lips did/didn't take in as color. This was a much shorter session in under 2 hours. After each session I was given after care instructions such as using the A&D ointment, aquaphor, avoid peeing the scabs etc. She also gave me a timeline guide of how the lips will change over the weeks until it's fully healed. We notified the office about the incident and there was nothing they could really do but advised us to buy again on whatever leftover yearbooks that they had which were only 10 copies. My child properly lined up to buy a copy when a group of 8th graders came and cut off all the students who waited patiently. One girl even ended up buying 5. They should've limit 1 copy per student. And whoever teacher was in charge at that yearbook sale should've kept an eye on the line. Such a disorganization and disappointment! Also, this school have kids bullying and intimidating other kids. Parents please choose caution when picking this school for your child/children. I almost wanted to believe that the students of this school improved till this incident happened to us.

Barrenechea called our 2 year old spoiled after 2 weeks of starting at Little Einstein's Montessori. Note that we were coming out of a pandemic and interaction with others had been very limited. And he was two!!!! During pick up he would be crying hysterically and would cling on to me. There were other off handed remarks made by her. What sealed our decision to pull him out was when I arrived early to pick him up (I had notified Mercedes, owner, of this), and he was in the front lobby by himself crying hysterically. No one in sight. NO ONE. I rang the doorbell twice and tried my best to calm him down from the other side of the door. After what felt like an eternity, Mercedes E. came calmly walking down the hallway. Her comment was "oh. He's here by himself?" I asked "you didn't know he was missing from the classroom?!" She said "I was changing a diaper. He was supposed to be with the other kids in the playroom. He's really good at opening doors" I said "do not put this on him for your lack of attention" We spoke to the owner, Mercedes, that night and we made the decision to unenroll him. There were too many red flags with staff. However, Mercedes did inform us that the teacher that was responsible for looking after my son was fired. Hence the two stars.
