I've been coming to this Cosmoprof for about 5 years and I always have a pleasant experience. Old and new staff has consistently been helpful whenever I shop. Today I stopped in for color products and Victor went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. His recommendations and disposition made me want to come right to Yelp and leave a positive review. Yeseñia also provided a high level of attentiveness while I was in store. Lots of businesses are lacking in their customer service these days, but this Cosmoprof store is not one of them - the kindness of the staff and store selection is consistently great. I came to this locations yelp page to see the hours and after reading the reviews I had to make sure I had the right location. I've never once had a bad experience at this location. I'm literally there once or twice a week. All the girls know me, I've forgotten my card a few times and it's NEVER a hassle. I feel bad because it's not easy to look up my card number and they always have to speak to a operator. Before I was a hairstylist, I worked as a receptionist and even then when I didn't have a card it wasn't a problem. My manager needed me to pick something up under her name and she called and let them know I was coming in for her, so there wasn't an issue. All the workers that I've know in the past 6 years have always been kind to me. Maybe it's because I'm also nice to them. read more

Well, This store used to be great...but now they've changed this store into a "concept store". Perhaps if you want one more choice in the already flooded hair color arena, you may like it. If you are looking for all of the other salon staples (Ie Wella hair care!) forget it. Too bad about the bad concept Cosmoprof. read more

The absolute WORST customer service. I am done shopping here. There are zero smiles, they are not polite, do not find it important to help customers at all. I will not be shopping here anymore for my salons needs any more. I am not sure why this is allowed? I would assume that people would want to be kind when working in customer service?? Love this beauty supply store in the Raintree Shopping Center. The staff are very helpful. But Amanda, the store manager is over-the-top, Double Deluxe. She is patient with questions and always goes out of her way to find or suggest a product. She'll even alert me when a sale is coming up. She remains calm and cheerful when technology is slow. Just got a message from Gina O. Apparently, she and her friends who have posted 5-star reviews here, think the problem that I, and all the other 1-star reviewers, had with the store is that I (we) wasn't allowed to shop there. So clearly, these people don't know how to read. To reiterate: 1. I wasn't shopping. I just needed to look at colors. That's it. Look at colors. Nothing more. Not even ask questions about it. And even if looking at color swatches for two minutes isn't allowed, 2. There's NO REASON to be rude and disrespectful. NONE. She could have kindly explained to me why I couldn't shop there, and then respectfully guided me to a more appropriate place for my needs. There was not a single other patron in there, so there was no reason for her to not be courteous and spend 15-30 seconds helping me. I spend hours every day helping people I don't know. It's really not a bad thing, dear. I assure you: you will not be sent to Hell for it. People accidentally come into my (clearly-labeled) place of business all the time. Very often, they, like I was the day I walked into CosmoProf (at the advice of my hairdresser, remember), are uncertain if they're in the right place. And you know what I do? I GREET THEM WITH A SMILE, I HELP THEM, AND I KINDLY GUIDE THEM TO A MORE SUITABLE PLACE FOR THEIR NEEDS. I am never disrespectful, because there's NO reason to treat people badly. Ever. (But maybe the staff at CosmoProf thinks it's okay if you "appear" to be a different race, because the woman ahead of me wasn't a cosmetologist, and got plenty of help from the woman who was snotty to me.) To be clear: The 1-star review is not a reflection of the fact that I was not helped; rather, it's entirely based on the rude, disrespectful, and completely loathsome way I was treated. I really hope that lady doesn't have any pets or kids, because her behavior towards me really did reach the level of being abusive, and I would genuinely worry about them. The negative reviews are a surprise. every time I come here -- ten minutes before closing or walking back and forth from the register to grab things I've forgotten I've never had a bad experience with the workers. In fact I really like them, asking their opinions on products or the like... also as a cosmetologist I don't come here looking like one who sells beauty and I've never felt judged for looking like a slop-- no makeup or even if I bring in my toddler. read more

Love this location. Regina has always been the sweetest and the most supportive person. She's helped me since I was a cosmetology student. Almost 4 years now, she's still helping me grow. She always has great advice. The girls have always been pretty helpful too. I'm really indecisive so I tend to spend a lot of time in there, but they've always been so patient with me and are there if I have any questions. read more

This place has the worst customer service ever! If you forgot your Cosmo Prof card the girls working there get really fussy. They let it be known that it's a pain in the ass to call and retrieve your account number. I went in today to exchange something and one of the employees just stood there and stared at me. The ladies who gave 1 to 2 stars are pretty accurate...the manager is extremely rude!!!! I've been coming to this Cosmoprof ever since it opened and I've had great customer service from the young ladies who worked here, unfortunately one no longer works there. I have tolerated the rudeness of this manager with the glasses for quite sometime now, since the store is on my way to work it's convenient for me, unfortunately I will no longer come to this store anymore. I would rather drive a few more miles to another store so I can have better customer service. It's like walking on eggshells with this manager. You don't know when she'll snap at you! read more

I use to work here, and I agree with the customers you never know when this lady Regina the manager will snap at you. I tried being nice to her but it's not enough for her don't know why this company still allows her to work here when all she does is talk shit about everyone her employees, customers, the company like if she isn't happy she should just leave but oh it's convenient for her because she's been working here for 20 yrs. Such a unhappy individual that's why she can't keep employees and people switch up on her because of the way she is. She wants to talk to people a certain way without giving them respect. I'm going to miss working for the company but not for her. Silly of me to come back here after she told me to come back. Just a slap in my face. It's a bit forboding when the entry door has a homemade sign indicating that any patron who does not shop there regularly will be asked to show their Pro card. Now, I understand they must get a number of people who walk in unaware they only sell to licensed professionals. However, each time I walk in the staff pounces on me, basically asking what I'm doing there. There is more than one place to buy developer and hair clips. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I'm not sure what was eating the girl working the cash register today, but she was in a foul mood. Maybe it was the fact that her time was being monopolized by what appeared to be a supervisor lecturing her while she could be greeting and engaging her customers... I'm not really sure what was going on this afternoon. I was going to spend more time looking for a few products on my list but I left because I did not want the bad energy in this store to stay with me the remainder of the day. What can I say about Briana.... horrible customer service. Went up in there looking to purchase some items and peruse some edgers. She was very unhappy to help but at this point i decided to go through and asked to see some items. Her luck, my item was at the top shelf so I can go around to the side and could already see she got shocked. Brings down the item, I'm still at the side of the counter. she puts the item down in the middle of the counter. Thinking she was going to open it up and show it to me, she just waits. This is not the only time, I avoid this store, no one should feel insulted by the staff. Let me shop in peace! I spend hundreds of dollars on products per year I just won't do it at the culver city store. Too many bad incidents. I left all the products I was going to purchase in my cart. This store is closet to my home and I'm a licensed cosmetologist for over 33 yrs. Cosmoprof is my preference and i shouldnt have to go clear across town becuase these female employees have no customer service skills. i will be writing to the corporate office, staff needed to be replaced a long time ago or their store closed. Do not go here , the manager the women with the very short hair is rude and seems like she has no desire to work there , and is talking to her employees like they are her best friends ignoring her customers. She had me waiting up front until I called her. I can't believe this company would have someone not into what there doing work there bad people skills and seems very lazy , I feel it's better to avoid that place and go to Sally's at least there people some what happy to work! Cosmoprof if you do not address this problem you will be losing more customers for most of my hairdresser friends and coworkers go there but I will inform to beware of manger with very short hair and bad attitude stay away. read more

Hands down the worst location. Unfortunately it's the most convenient as it is close to work. However the staff (especially the short haired lady) is rude!
