The upstairs cinema has elevated seating with a row in the middle that has lots of leg room. 6'4" and really appreciate the space! Popcorn was good. I kind of thought that the ticket prices would be a little lower due to small screens and lack of quality sound system. But only game in town can set their own prices I guess. I believe the only theater in Marshfield but, the city of Marshfield needs to invest some money to upgrade the seats and carpet to keep Rogers alive. We were in the upstairs theater yesterday & it was filthy. There needs to be a cleaning crew before or after hours. Every seat was stained, ripped up, & the floors were sticky, covered with popcorn & candy. I enjoy going there but cleaning management needs to improve.

If you combined the DMV waiting area, an urgent care waiting room, daycare, and a chicken coop, that's what the theater was like during the show. The entire row behind us had newborns and toddlers crying and running back and forth. The child in front of us kept turning around to stare at us before finally climbing over the row in front of him to sit elsewhere. Two people in front of us texted constantly. And the entire left side of the theater was unaccompanied kids. Nobody shut up the entire 120 minutes. Ever. Not even worth $5.

The screens here are all medium to small in size, but the seating area is not so large so that the…read moresmaller screen size is not so much of an issue. The seats arranged in front of one another barely sloped down towards the screen so if someone in your group is shorter when they sit, they may have a hard time seeing over other people if you go on a busy night to a popular movie when the theater is full this could be a problem. The seating is slightly dated but still has good cushions. It seems clean.

The attendant informed me that I could not take water into the theater and I could not take my backpack into the theater because they do not allow carry-ins. I explained to her I was on a restricted diet, which in my case is no food and only clear liquids after 9:00 a.m. It was 1:00 p.m. She pointed out that Rogers Cinema sells water. I offered to have her inspect my backpack. I have carried a backpack for my belongings since 1972. She insisted that neither would be allowed. She was quite unkind over a couple of dollars. The movie itself seemed to have a bit of trouble matching the voice to the lip movements. Rogers Cinema ruined the movie for me and ruined my efforts to make the preparations for the medical situation somewhat pleasant. I have seen my last movie at a Rogers Cinema which today only had about a dozen people in attendance.
