Our journey starts in approximately February of last year. We got a quote to get our roof…read moreprofessionally replaced and repaired. We decide our shingle and gutter colors and everything seemed great, planned and ready to go. This is during a supply shortage so we get delayed a month or so due to availability of shingles. Sure, no problem. The installation begins: the contractors arrive and seemed professional enough to know what they're doing and they get started ripping things off and replacing. First incident is my neighbor picks up a handful of nails that were left in the street after the first day of work. Unacceptable, but they responded respectively with my feedback. 2nd day into the work they let me know they underestimated the amount of shingles and need approximately $2,000 more including labor. We decline and but pay some pity because of it being a mistake. Here's the catch. We have to wait for more shingles, --for 3 months. All the while 4 different leaks developed with a half blue and half brown roof. Keep in mind, all of the communications with AVCO have been extremely delayed and they showed up multiple times without notice. They fix the leaks; repaint it and all. I accept it. And still being lenient. They continue the roof replacement and the blue shingles look amazing. Another 3 months go by with little communication on when the gutters will be installed and the pricing. The gutters get installed initially, completely incorrectly. At this point, the person who gave us our initial quote was 'fixing' his contractors work. The gutters continued to hold water and drain incorrectly. We come to find there is a sagging section of the roof that they should've contacted us regarding and at least given us the choice to get it repair or not. But no one ever spoke about it potentially being a problem. To this day we have yet to pay for the gutters as they still are left incorrectly done and still holding just a little bit of water, not to mention a corner being finished with the wrong type of leaf catcher because they ran out or got lazy. This is not a reliable company. They contract out there work to anyone who will do it for a low wage.

They were always coordinated and ahead of addressing any questions before I even had a chance to ask! It was such a relief to be taken care of versus taken advantage of. With every interaction, I was treated with the utmost level of kindness, consideration and personalized care. I love that I could simply text or they were also reachable by phone call 24/7. I live in Austin and sadly became tasked with putting my late father's home up for sale near Lindale. I had to drop everything and travel to the unattended house when I was made aware of some electrical problems and outages occuring. Fenix was immediately available to help and I was fortunate to have Paul Hutchinson respond to my service request. He went absolutely beyond expectations! Paul was thorough, expedient and able to explain my issues with clarity in a way that actually made sense so I felt confident making informed decisions amidst a stressful, time sensitive situation. I couldn't believe someone would just decide to do something like that simply to help out another person even though that wasn't his "job". Without a doubt, I would've been injured down there alone had he not secured and safeguarded that area. It definitely wasn't part of Paul's itenerary for the day but I'm so appreciative how he selflessly went beyond what was asked or required of him professionally just to ensure a safer environment for his customer, because it was simply the right thing to do. It also brought my attention to several other hazards I was able to have repaired and wouldn't have become aware of otherwise. Not long after Paul finished his repairs and left that evening, I continued working in the basement alone, sorting through the damptowering tubs of belongings, rusty tools, etc. Suddenly, the leg from a tall metal shelving unit gave way and collapsed on top of me. Thanks to Paul clearing out the space earlier, I was able to roll into part of the open space as it landed on me. I definitely would've been pinned down there without any way of calling for help had he not ensured the area wasn't a total death trap. So not only did he do an incredible repair job but I credit him for preventing me from being seriously injured and he absolutely saved me from being such a careless idiot!
