*(updated review to 3 stars from 1 because owner followed up with me and offered full refund and told me that Robert rarely works there.) My daughter and I booked one-hour massages today. 1. They put pressure for us to upgrade to 90 min. 2. Robert came out and told me he is a "Master Masseuse with 20 years of experience" and that I'd regret not doing a 90 minute massage. (I regretted letting him touch me for 90 minutes, in the end). 3. Three times during the encounter he puffed himself up and talked poorly of every other massage therapist I could have ever possibly encountered. When he tried to up-sell hot stones I politely declined. He then asked if I'd been hurt with them and I said yes. He said he knew better how to do it than the person who hurt me. I still declined and he went on to tell me how he does it differently. 4. I had indicated on the forms that I wanted attention paid to my legs. (I'm a runner). He put almost no pressure or attention on my legs and too much on my neck. 5. He pulled on each of my legs to stretch them out of the hip joint. He said "This is my intelligence test for massage therapists - if they don't remove the compression they don't know what they are doing." It was so obnoxious... 6. He put me in position to do adjustments on my neck and I asked him not to manipulate my neck. He asked if I'd had an accident and I said yes and he said he spent 5 years working in a medical office and knew what to do, I said that may be true but I came in for a massage and not adjustment. 7. LASTLY - when I was done he said I'd been "difficult" but he appreciated the challenge. I said nothing, still lying on table with eyes closed. 8. My daughter left her massage with her shoulder hurting. It wasn't hurting before the massage. read more

Had a rainy day on vacation and decided to call on a whim if they had anything available. David was able to see me within the hour and was fantastic. He was very attentive to what areas I asked him to work on, used all different tricks (hot stones, hot towels and neck heater) to help loosen up tight muscles, and was very knowledgeable about pressure points. Came here with my boyfriend on the last day of our vacation and soooo happy we did! Called and was able to make a same day appointment. My boyfriend needed a deep tissue massage and I wanted a Lomi Lomi. They were able to put us in a room together so we could share the experience. We both felt very relaxed by the end and my bf said that was the best massage he's ever had. I mean usually we get the basic $20 massages on the mainland. Best massage I have ever had at this place. Robert was my therapist and he was great. He has a wealth of knowledge and you can tell he really care about his work and making sure your massage is great. My friend and I called and we got an appointment for the same day an hour later. The spa is clean and relaxing, the receptionist gave us each a complimentary flower clip for our hair when she found out we were ok vacation and going to a luau the next day. Prices are good and a lot cheaper than what we would have paid for a shorter massage at our resort. If you are looking for a massage while on Maui this is the place to go! read more

Massage did not wow me! I did a couples massage and I got an older man. I had the felling since the beginning I wasn't going to get what I wanted. Ladies assured me he was good... he wasn't! Overall bad massage! I had to pay for a second massage at my hotel where I got satisfied massage. Didn't get the pressure I requested on areas to concentrate on. Not sure why they even asked. Man coughed on me almost during the whole massage. Felt his arm hairs on me while getting my facial really uncomfortable. Next time I'll go with my instinct. Not a satisfied customer. read more

I was astonished when I pretty much forgot to tell her where my major problem area was, which was a specific muscle in my left low back, and it's like she knew it without me having to tell her. She paid extra attention to it and helped me so much. We come every year and I'll definitely be back. I hope she stays and is being well compensated besides what she is tipped. My husband and I went to Cosmo's in Maui for a massage while on vacation there this summer. We were skeptical at first as the day spa appears to be in a "strip mall". But we were nicely surprised. It was very clean, extremely professional and the massages were 5 star and some. My masseause was Robert and my husband's was Tiana. Both of us were extremely pleased with our massages. They were truly outstanding and we would go again for sure. The only reason we gave it an overall 4 star was the setting could have been a little more spa-like but you are paying for the massage and not the setting as this is not part of an expensive hotel spa. I was also a little concerned that both masseuses' were not vaccinated at this critical time of Covid spread. But just ask them to wear masks and they will. read more

The staff is so welcoming and sweet - definitely took their time to address all my problem areas I noted. I got a deep tissue massage by Robert the other day. I actually saved his contact information from last October when I visited Maui because he fixed my neck problems in a way I have sought out but have never found in any other massage therapist anywhere. He has completely cured my chronic headaches by using his knowledge and experience massaging my neck. Although every individual's body responds differently, his amazing massage left me pain free.That says alot because I do get massages on a regular basis back home. He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. He tries hard to please every client so they leave feeling much better than when they arrived. He is confident in his skills but is the farthest thing from arrogant, he has skilled hands and years of practice which he incorporates in every massage.
