After the Lash Lift service was complete I received a special after care package containing Lash Care Serum & Lash Brushes with some info. I also received a loyalty card & they do birthday discounts! After the service was done a few weeks later I was even contacted by The Lash Factory to see how my Lash Lift was! I love this detail because it shows that they care and want to make sure you were satisfied with your experience even after they already got paid for the service. Those little details are what separates this business from other Lash businesses I have gone to in the past. They really go above and beyond - and show that they truly care. I went to Unique on a Friday at about 1:00, and it was busy. It was about a 20-minute wait, but there was only one lady working. She was friendly, quick, and attentive. After each customer, she wiped down the seat and sanitized her hands. She wore gloves and a mask. I wish I would have gotten this lady's name because it was pretty obvious she had a following. Almost all of the customers ahead of me and waiting while I was getting threaded seemed to be regulars. After I was threaded, the lady trimmed my brows, applied aloe for the potential redness and irritation, and then filled in my brows with some brow powder since she was too busy to give me a brow tint. Honestly, I thought the powder filler was a really nice touch. I don't know where she learned how to thread, but it's as if her touch was blessed by fairies or some otherworldly entity because she was so gentle. I didn't feel the thread raking across my skin, and I didn't tear up as the hair was being pulled out. I could barely feel a thing. This woman was a threading ninja. Pro tip: I was told they are always busy from noon to 2:00, and then 5:00 and after, so plan accordingly if you don't want to wait.

The other two times, different staff members took care of me, and even then, I had no complaints. Each time, the shaping was clean, flattering, and consistent. They are decently priced--I believe I paid $12 for my eyebrows, plus an additional tip. For the quality of work, I think it's very fair. It would be great if they introduced some sort of membership or rewards program for frequent visitors; that would definitely add value. The only downside is that every time I've gone in, there's only been one person working. The wait can be long, especially during busy hours. It would really help if they hired more staff to keep up with demand. Outside of the wait, though, the results keep me coming back. If you're thinking about trying them out, I definitely recommend it--just try to go early or during off-peak hours if you're in a rush!

In the end, there were a few tiny tiny hair that cannot be removed by wax, I suggested plugging them, but the lady did threading! Threading is a traditional hair removal technics in Asia and it's very traditional. Even in Asia where I am from, not many people know how to do it anymore. So I was very impressed by it. I went to Riki for microblading and was really impressed. She is very thorough and detailed. She is…read morealso very clean and is serious about it because you are dealing with open skin. You can tell she enjoys doing this and takes pride in her work. She isn't someone just going through the motions. I am very impressed with my brows and the overall experience. A little run down of what happens - you make a consult appointment and then go in for the consult. She explains the process and actually outlines the areas where your brows should be. If you decide to proceed, you then make an appointment for the microblading. This appointment takes approx. 1 1/2 hours. I will admit that it is slightly uncomfortable when she first starts but she then adds a numbing cream and you can no longer feel it. You then make your appt for approx 6 weeks for a fill. Riki gives you a detailed sheet with what to expect and do over the next few weeks. She also gives you the items needed for the initial few weeks - cleanser, ointment to be applied. You cannot exercise to where you sweat for 2 weeks - you've been warned ladies! LOL - this part was a little frustrating for me but I got my run done in the morning before going and just knew what to expect and thought about long term and how I didn't want to impact the look, plus I just spent all of that money, there was no way I was damaging her awesome work! The second week, I had a little flaking and they were a little itchy. Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend going here, if you are considering microblading.

I usually come here every 2 to 3 weeks to get UV gel fill but for some reason, the owner decided to…read morediscriminate against me. It was my birthday, and I wanted my nails to stay long. I did not want to cut them. Also these are my natural nails no tips nothing fake. I just get the UV gel on top to make them strong. This woman proceeded to cut my nail after I told her numerous times that this was my real natural nails, and I did not want to cut them because it was my birthday that I will cut them the next service she proceeded to file my nails down so bad that I have a bad indentation on all of my nails, which I never got with UV gel she filed the Apex all the way down so that the nails would break or lift and I would have to come back for new service. I tried to explain to her that it wasn't right she did not care and she overcharged me. I usually pay $60-$70 she charged me $120 for a basic UV gel fill with gel polish. I felt very disrespected. I felt unheard. I understand that the Caucasian community is the primary customer in your area, but you should treat everyone with respect. I did not like how you guys talked about me and laughed. It was my birthday and I just wanted to look nice. All of my nails broke down the middle exactly the same length on everyone because of how she filed my nails down the day before my birthday and i got my nails done three days before my birthday. I've never seen a nail tech do that. I don't recommend anybody to go here. They're very rude very nasty and will change the price every time you walk in the door even laugh about it with customers as if I was over exaggerating, her exact words were "It's just a nail it will grow back" I was a customer for over a year came for every refill every service I will not be returning to this salon and I don't recommend.
