Called and asked for information about the process of receiving pre-exposure rabies vaccines. I'm…read morestudying to be a wildlife biologist and I focus on bats. It is required of me to receive these vaccines and it is something that should be common knowledge for anyone working in a hospital--regardless of whether you're a nurse or not. After I asked my question, whoever was working reception had zero idea what I was asking for, which is fairly alarming considering rabies is one of the most lethal viruses we have. She asked me if I was a current patient, I said no I don't have insurance. This was when she really stopped helping me. I understand prices are high, but they're going to be high regardless because of what I'm asking for. She told me to ask my school what do, to which I told her they told me to contact hospitals because they are all equipped to give these vaccines. She just kept saying she doesn't know what I was asking for and that she can't help. She then directed me to Jane Pauley, who is closed on weekends. I understand not being versed in everything that happens in a hospital, but not knowing what a pre-exposure vaccine is, and being unwilling in helping access that, is a terrible look for any healthcare facility. Please educate your staff on basic healthcare and train them to not just push people off the phone.

The doctor said my nail was too long and was hitting the end of my shoe causing this redness. Ever since then Medicare had been charged $19 per month by Hoosier Foot and Ankle (alias Upperline). I notified Medicare and today I'll notify my secondary insurance as they are paying some also. This will be a bittersweet Yelp review considering I'm still in excruciating pain from my last…read morevisit to see Dr. White. Why was I there, you ask? For my useless, twisted, backwards, painful wisdom teeth. I cannot even been to describe how much pain the extraction of my bottom two wisdom teeth have caused me, but I am very thankful for the treatment I was given at this particular dentist. He was aware that I was going to be in pain, so he helped in any way possible. He explained what was happening during the extraction, how I could help the healing process and what I should/shouldn't eat along the way. Like I said, I'm still in pain -- but -- I believe that the experience could have been ten times worse had I been given an awful dentist. I have gone to Dr. White for quite awhile and he has seen me through some major stages of life: graduating high school, studying abroad, starting a new job, saving up for new trips, etc. These topics mean a great deal to me and he makes it a point to chat about my life at every visit. Very nice - and something that I don't forget about afterward. So, thank you Dr. White -- for most recently taking out my horrid wisdom teeth.

Dr. White is very professional and thorough and he and his assistant work very well together. He found a tooth that had an infection that I was unaware of because the nerve was dead and I had felt no pain. During the exam he noticed fine cracks in it and asked if there was ever trauma. I had a car accident 30 years earlier and that tooth slowly died, so I was unaware. He took an xray and showed me the films where it was abscessed. If he had not discovered and fixed this tooth, I could have lost it in the future. My previous dentist had completely missed this. My prior dentist was fine, but had the philosophy that if it doesn't cause pain, don't worry about it. That may be OK in many cases, but not in this one. He performed a root canal on the front tooth. It had a single canal, and since the nerve was dead already, I felt absolutely nothing during the root canal and did not even need novocaine. Their fees are reasonable too. Even though he is not in my insurance network, the insurance did not deem any of his charges above reasonable and customary. I would highly recommend this office.

First off; if your office opens at 8 am how is someone to call and speak to someone prior to that time ? That's a ridiculous statement to make. Especially when all your correspondence states you must speak to someone, not leave a voicemail. Secondly, what is your CoVID policy? Not sure if you are any different than any other provider; but most people don't want people with CoVID in their office. In the past 2 years, I have not once left a bill open ; you have NEVER had to bill me as I pay In full at the time is service. I am appalled at the level of unprofessionalism portrayed today and will not ever return to this office; and I will make sure to post this review. Do not bother to bill me as I will NOT pay for a missed appointment when the phone call was made in the time frame allotted and I have CoVID! You might want to retrain your front desk staff.
