Our daughter was having her baby and we couldn't even wait in the main lobby or a waiting room. There are no set visiting hours and we were on our daughter's list of 5 people who could visit. We live 2 hours away from that hospital and had to leave and then drove back the next day. It's insane to me that nurses can lie about visiting hours when there are none.

JUSTIN KNOX- PA OFFICE REVIEW AT ASCENSION: It is bittersweet for me to say I am now going to the…read moreCommunity Heathcare Network and leaving Ascension. It came about because Dr. Hill had to go on Medical Leave and quit. My records were sent to a MR JUSTIN KNOX- PA. here at 141 w 22ND st. suite 311. The initial visit with him was fine I thought, but there was a Pharmacy error, He claimed it was not their office, even though I had called before and was told it would go to MGMT to check on. I had to play phone tag in this office, to still get it cleared up. No luck. I decided to check in person because nobody would answer the phone, and I did not have voice mail at that time. I was confused and worried because the medication was for only one month. I usually get a full year. I cannot go off this medication cold turkey. I did not want any interruption in my heath care. The Office Manager, TAYLOR, called the pharmacy and cleared it up. I even Thanked her, but instead I got a warning letter later on July 13 2026 that described me as someone that I did not know. Words were typed in letter that said I was mean and nasty. I found it to be very unprofessional. I believe the office front desk tried to slant their version of events to make me look as bad as they could because I did not know what was going on and was upset. The front desk woman clerk tried to argue with me at one point about the difference between a DR and a PA before Taylor the office mgr. came by. I am sure that was not taken into consideration. I am a sixty - nine yr old white woman. It was easy for them to send such a letter to me because I am Caucasian. I am pretty sure they would not have sent the letter describing me like they did otherwise. I was traumatized for a while. They told me not to come back unless I signed a legal document for them. I was born here too. WARNING: I would not recommend this Anderson Primary Care office at 141 w 22nd st Suite 311. no matter how sick you are. There have been other RED FLAGS associated with this office in the past for my mother as well which I will not go into detail here. (p.s.) CVS Pharmacy said it was not their error either. THIS WAS A VERY BIZARRE EXPERIENCE THAT ASCENSION BOARD OF DIRECTORS SHOULD LOOK INTO IF THEY CARE ABOUT THE REVIEWS.

I visited a family member recently at Ball Memorial. It's part of the IU network. I have become…read moreaccustomed to larger hospitals in Indy and typically think of hospitals outside of metro Indy as small. This is not the case for Ball, it's impressive. It's located near Ball State University; I assume the Ball family was a significant donor. Covid restrictions are strict. Only 2 people a day are allowed to visit. The check you for symptoms at the front desk, give you a sticker/tag fit that day. Then when you get to the floor, they have you sign in for who you are visiting. Ensuring only two per day. My family member was in the oncology floor. The staff was the best I have seen in some time. Denise was the RN during visiting hours, there are none better than Denise. Now the cafeteria was ok. But it's a hospital during Covid, so I should have expected what I found. I brought my own on subsequent visits.

But, with the proper care, I would have been able to save one of my fallopian tubes. This did not happen. They treated me like I was crazy for feeling the way I did and asking for help. Having to stay overnight was the worst and the doctor was terrible. The place is not very clean. My mother said, and she's right, if you can make it anywhere else, go anywhere else. Even if you're shot or stabbed or something. The regular dr offices and imagining area is fine.

Im giving this ER location 3 stars because of how great the rest of staff was but LPN Annette has…read moregot to have the worst bedside manner I have ever dealt with and if I went off my experience with her, you would receive zero stars. We brought my father up to the ER because of severe stomach pain and even though he wanted to wait my sister and I were adamant he should not. The wait in the ER was very quick in the lobby which was great but once we started dealing with LPN Annette there was nothing great about the service. She was asking questions and because we told her he had seen a doctor the day before she said "well I don't know what you want us to do". Now keep in mind she is not taking ANY notes, but thankfully the other student nurse in the room was. I informed her of issues my father previously had and she told me she didn't see why we were there as we saw a Dr yesterday. Needless to say I left the room because I wasn't going to have anything nice to say to LPN Annette and went to swap places with my sister. Thankfully the ER Dr didn't listen to Annette who wanted to discharge my father and listened to me and my sister. They sent my father in for scans and found out he was having a diverticulitis flare up and needed antibiotics asap. We shouldn't have had to work so hard for the ER Dr come in but based on what LPN Annette felt out needs were SHE decided we didn't need anything and needed to be discharged. And her lack of bedside manners was not limited to us. While sitting out in the lobby while my father was getting lab work and scans done, LPN Annette brought out another patient in a wheelchair chair who had falling hazard band around his wrist. I watched as this man with no shoes on, no balance, wobble HIMSELF into a chair while Annette just stood there and did nothing. This man's attitude didn't seem the best but if he would've fallen in that lobby it definitely would have been her fault considering he had a fall hazard bracelet on. He was asking for water and she didn't even acknowledge him, just told him he needed to stop trying to get out of his chair and then just walked away and left him. I'm sayin go all this to say LPN Annette needs to retake some classes on bedside manners and maybe some listening classes as well. If you come to this ER and she comes out, I personally would ask to work with someone else.
