Was called back 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, nurse that brought me back did not confirm date of birth, and when I waited for the Dr. (for another 15 minutes) the door to their office was cracked open and I could hear everything they were talking about relating to other patients. Yes, there are wait times but I haven't experienced anything beyond what is typical for any doctor's office. Truth is there is only so much any doctor can do, the rest is under nature and your control. Arthritis/neuromas will occur. But if you follow the doctor's instructions you can slow the progression (to some degree) and definitely aid in your recovery. Your shoes may not look pretty (though styles are improving) but it's a small price to pay to keep walking. I wish I had seen a podiatrist much earlier.

The pain under my big toenail on my right foot would not go away. The pain the left foot under the big toenail was not nearly as bad. Dr. Mitt figures out what the cause was right away and fixed it with a simple procedure. When the pain got a bit dicey he gave me a shot to numb the toe. What a great experience. Two weeks later I returned for a quick follow-up. I was much improved, and I did purchase a set of orthotics as had been recommended at the first visit. Visit was very brief with no X-rays or anything else. No mention of a co-pay when I checked out. Several weeks later I received a bill. She had charged and billed insurance as much as she had charged for the first visit, but this time there were no x-rays, no walking boot, no diagnosis, nothing. Again I was billed another $45.00. I wrote to complain but received no reply until I received a new bill.
