I thought it was going to be a breeze- Nope ! There were alot of steps to be taken to make the right choice ! Paul, Lyle and Steve were very attentive and accommodating through the entire process. Paul communicated with me throughout the measuring , guidance with picking a color, and when there was a slight delay in delivery. ( one day later) Steve gave his expertise about the texture, depth , comfort and durability of all of the carpets that would suit my budget and lifestyle. As I don't have any children, he recommended a lighter color, yet dark enough to withstand traffic areas. The carpet Technicians arrived promptly at 8 am , and worked nonstop throughout the day. They made sure that I was satisfied before they left. I've never had to choose carpets before, but I was very pleased with their customer service and dozens of options to choose from. At the end of everything, my house looks amazing, and most of all, I feel like I'm walking on clouds '- as Steve described how it would feel. And he was absolutely right! Very pleased customer!

We were promised a Monday start date, only to find out later that demo couldn't begin until Wednesday. Because we were on a tight move-in schedule, we ended up doing the demo ourselves, yet received very little credit for the work. Communication was poor throughout the project. The crew frequently used our personal tools without permission, left another customer's paperwork in our home, and repeatedly left trash behind. We also had to address unfinished work and adhesive leaking from our stairs after the install was supposedly complete. While the floors and baseboards look beautiful, the quality did not match the nearly $28,000 price tag. Within two days of moving in, the floors were already scratched from normal household items, despite us specifically expressing concerns about durability before purchasing. When we reached out, we were told the damage was not covered under warranty and were essentially blamed for it. To make matters worse, our final invoice was incorrect, and when corrected, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. Overall, the experience was frustrating, stressful, and far from worth the cost. I would not recommend FCI based on our experience. UPDATE - May 2026 Floors are scratched in multiple areas. Nails are coming up on the stair bullnose. We have reached out several times, with several promises that Mauricio will come out and address the issues --- yet weeks have gone by and the issues have still not been corrected.

This is where they don't even bother to give you a written quote. They mentioned talking to Shaw to see if they can get prices lower since they were about 4k higher than the other two companies we had received quotes from. I followed up 3 times but never received a written quote. I was potentially willing to go with their company since they have Costco backing even if slightly higher in price but they never gave me the chance to even consider them.
