When I went back to address the issue, I didn't get any real solution, just excuses. Brakes are one of the most important safety components, and it's unacceptable to have them done carelessly. If something as critical as brakes can't be handled properly here, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere for service. I would not recommend Tyler Reyes, he is not a good mechanic. I always check reviews before choosing a place to ensure they treat customers right and offer honest service. That's what led me to call them directly and ask about the Groupon deal they were advertising. During the call, I mentioned I had a Groupon and asked about the requirements for booking an appointment. While the man on the phone (whose name I didn't catch) began scheduling me, he informed me there would be an additional $25 charge for an oil filter replacement and oil disposal -- on top of the $50 Groupon. I let him know that the extra cost was a bit high for me and was simply trying to understand the full pricing. Before I could finish explaining or ask any follow-up questions, he cut me off, talked over me, and told me to go find someplace cheaper -- then abruptly hung up. I was shocked at how dismissive and rude he was. There was no attempt to clarify, help, or even show basic courtesy. Customer service means a lot to me, and this experience was a red flag. I take good care of my car and expect the same level of care and professionalism from anyone I trust to work on it. If someone is quick to hang up on a potential customer, I can only imagine how they might handle customers' vehicles behind closed doors. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend MANS Auto.
