You would expect fare prepped by a line cook. Nothing wrong with that at all. Line cooks can burn with the best of them. But Bucks goes a step up. Yes they are Covid sensitive at the very door. The foyer is secluded from the venue incase nudity or scantily clad bodies are a touchy subject. You can order by phone or step into the foyer and order from there. This place has real deal burger specials and a steak special unmatched elsewhere in the DFW except at another Bucks. I pre-order/pre-pay and tip commensurate with the service they almost always go above. If they miss, they genuinely strive to fix it. We usually have a big order from my job so one expects a little detail misstep due to all the juggling they are attempting. Timing steaks to go for me and my co-workers and a venue full of customers inside. Yet they manage with finesse of a restaurant that only serves food and not entertainment. I still think Bucks could do a stand aline restaurant and compete with the best of them. They right now are on the level of Saltgrass, Texas Roadhouse and that market. They are right in there. I like the history so no need to "modernize' to the point of loosing that but some simple updating in the bathroom and around the grounds would be nice. I recommend buying tickets in advance as their arena gets packed. Checkin starts an hour before the comedians take the stage. They have a bar with some beer, wine and cocktail options. Unfortunately no food here. I recommend having your dinner before coming here. Seats are nice and staff are very friendly. As we walked in we noticed others who checked in before us started writing things on a piece of paper so comedians have some improv ideas to perform. Comedians were very funny throughout the show. The show lasted for a couple of hours. They even brought in a couple of audience members and added them to their show. Overall, all of us had a great time. Absolutely worth it. Ambiance was great. Nice clean restrooms. Parking can be hard to find. There is a parking garage nearby. I think it's free for a couple of hours.

The atmosphere was perfect for an afternoon performance, and it was nice that drinks were available. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout. Set design, costumes, choreography, singing, music, acting were all top notch. Some of the things you should know before you go. 1) Parking can be a challenge because they don't have their own garage. There are several garages nearby (about a block walking distance), but you will want to arrive really early to make sure you have time to find a space, make your way to the theater, and find your seat before the show starts. We were coming from Richardson, so we knew we would need over an hour to travel there, but because of the parking situation, we left even earlier at 11:30 am for a 1:30pm show time start. 2) The building is quite modern. They have several entrances, but you may be asked to wait on the street in the elements before they open the doors and start scanning tickets. Be prepared to stand in the elements. 3) The seats are quite narrow and the arm rest is shared with your seat mate. If you are an average sized American, you might find the average seats quite uncomfortable. The person next to me was blubbering through her seat into mine. She was also very enthusiastic tapping along with the beat. Both things were unpleasant for me. There are box seats that have independent chairs. If I return to this venue, I will pay for one of these to avoid feeling like a sardine. They have an amazing line up of shows. I wish they were closer because I would definitely be a season ticket holder so that I could enjoy every single one of their amazing shows.

This venue feels like a Las Vegas nightclub transported to Dallas and since it was rented out for an event it felt like we owned the place. For this event, there was catered bbq which was set up outside and then the concert took place inside. One Republic ended up performing that night and wow what a show. If I have the opportunity to stop by this venue in the future I definitely will.

Perfect size for small acts,you feel like you're part of the action. This show featuring international circus acts along traditional lines was high energy. It runs thru the Christmas season and is worth catching.
