While in Scotland, we came upon Coronation Park in Port Glasgow. What drew our attention were these two humongous sculptures. We immediately pulled into the park so we could get a better look of them. Parking was not an issue the morning we dropped by. The sculptures were even more impressive up close. They are sculptures of two shipbuilders. I believe their names our Biff and Bash or Bish and Bash. I heard the sculptures are also called the Skelpies. Whatever their name is, they are quite a work of art.
The park is located next to the river Clyde. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery throughout. The river on one side. The town on the other side. Would have loved to explore Coronation park more, but there was no time on our limited schedule. Maybe one day we will be fortunate to return.
